For those who have the phone, how bad is the touchscreen missing touch issue?

XDA forums seems to indicate it's quite bad - http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/poll-g4-misses-unresponsive-to-touch-t3131276

Only sometimes there are missing touches. Overall it's great so far! No complaint. I think next update should improve the sensitivity of the screen bah.

How to know if we have voLTE? Instead of 4G+ will show that? Am on m1..

think m1 have volte service...u can call m1 hotline to ask and see..

google and found m1 also on VoLTE...but seem like they havent fully implemented...

if you can go to lg g4 service menu...there is a option for you to test VoLTE on/off..when i click on it..the menu prompt a message saying not supported...

not sure if this is sim card related or not...i has been using the same sim card for the past 5 years when i jump to m1..

i think volte is telco specific....my fren starhub have this service...but mine m1 dont have...so starhub will see this option..not on m1..singtel i dunno ..

Turning off data definitely saves battery.

Can switch to 2G/3G on Android? I know in iPhone they can turn off 4g to use 3G to save data.

Yes. Go to settings, wireless network, mobile network, network mode. Choose GSM/WCDMA.

Anyone got preventive measures to prevent laser focus plastic cover from getting scratches further? Mine is quite scratched up and I'm pretty annoyed by it. I believe it won't affect the focusing speed but it's a flagship phone from LG and yet such thing happens..

Friend of mine got a cheap clear screen protector from diaso cut the sp to size for her G3 laser focus area and pasted it there. Did the same thing for her rear camera.. Her phone got 1 tiny microscopic scratch, she cannot sleep kind..

problem is...when you paste something on the laser focus....will it make the laser focus function gone? will the laser thought the Sp is the distance and the focus become slower?

She never complain of any issue after pasting leh. I am assuming, it's a clear sp just like you were to take a photo of a fish in an aquarium tank at close range. Guessing the sensor should be intelligent enough to distinguish that.. Besides, it's a $2 investment/experiment however one may wish to describe it..

Edit: Another way, you could conduct this experiment is by taking a photo with your home window open and same exact shot with the window closed. Or if you have a clear cellophane plastic lying at home cover the sensor and take a shot with and without. See if there is any notable difference.
