LG has already prompt consumers that there will be a super
flagship phone that does not belong to the G series.

Thus if an upgrade to G4 with 4GB Ram and finger sensor
it is still in the G series which the title of "super premium"
does not fit. It is unlikely LG will name it G4 Pro.

The rumour that Pro 2 will not to be continued seems a big
fake as we now know Pro 3 is on the way. This classic
phablet is LG top flagship phone and it is in the Pro series.

So consumers who shunned large size phone has no choice
but to wait for the next upgrade to G4. It is now marketing
strategy as to when to have the official release of the two
flagship devices worldwide including its pricing that would
bring them success. :):s22:

but LG G4 pro going release this quarter right?
so means this super phone gotta wait like another? 1 year?
no specs yet ?

Whats the editing software ?

I mean when first edit the picture, there is no editing software so when you touch on the edit on top left, they will prone u to download the editing tool which after that allowed you to edit your photo and any picture in your gallery.

Sad maybe because some of us are actually expecting the Pro 3 next year and didn't expect 2 flagships within 6 months.

So, we get G4 recently after about 1monthplus of deciding and looking at rumours site.

....and now looks like Carousell will be flooded with G4 going at about $600 preowned market rate :s13:

hmm G4 price seems to have fallen below that for preowned pricing..

wa I damn excited for G Pro 3, held off G4 using G3 now

There is sympathy and obvious understanding from your
point of view. However many of us who knew LG has a real
good product only needs to have the correct strategy in
marketing with extremely accurate timing for launching the
Pro 3.

Without knowing the power of G4 and the extended coming
replacement of the G series how can consumers be still
loyal enough to upgrade to the larger Pro 3? Remember there
are thousands out there who have negative thoughts about
holding a bigger device in their hands!

I am glad LG has the marketing path almost going smoothly
according to plans. They won't let go any other further details
of the G4 upgrade or the G2 Pro upgrade. The competition
must be scratching their heads. The Spirit will provide the
answer. Ha...ha! :s13::s13::s13:

We are firmed about the quality and future success of LG
mobile phone, not withstanding that we are merely thinking
aloud from the consumer point of view. I only start using
LG in June last year after extensive research on the best
mobile device to have after the Note One from Samsung.

Well, maybe I should follow you here closely and watch your buying pattern, hehehe

Yeah, when I said $600 it is the negotiable starting price.... should be able to get for $500-$550 now depending on your negotiating skill :)

I was just asking if anybody was happy or sad with the news and my reason later was just speculating on a question of why would people be sad :)

Good to know for future purchase when dealing with LG.... the G4 was my first LG branded phone.

actually technique is to not get phones when they are first launched, except iphone as I get it with contract

Hi guys. Going down to ST tomorrow for re contract, feel like getting G4 but hesitation between G4 vs HTC M9 vs S6 edge.
Anyone can give comment on their G4? They say batt life slightly below average and some say touch sensitivity quite unresponsive. Also how much is the leather cover retailing? Thanks

After using for 2 weeks, I feel the battery is quite OK.

The standby is very good. It only dropped by 1% after 2 hours.

I had some problem scrolling when surfing the net and chitchatting once in a while ( it's hang ) and need to refresh or restart the phone sometimes fyi.

Anyway, overall it's a good phone and I compared the pictures taken with my Note 3 and G4, the G4 easily prawned the Note 3. I think the G4 has one of the best camera in the phone currently.

Decided to get the G4 because of removable battery and external storage's features. Is it possible to ask for leather back cover instead of the plastic one? Or the leather cover has to be bought by itself individually?

My advice?
You're on the verge of the biggest phone events of the year.
There's new phones from Apple, Sony, LG (Maybe).
So hold off... By next weekend, your decision should be easier.

touch responsiveness is not as good as what it's like . From time to tone, it does not seems to register two point touch, such as pitch in to zoom in and out.

Anyone else having this issues as well?
