I bought this set of ND filters.

I assume the ND 2 4 8 is what you mention as 2x 4x.

Also got a cheapo octopus tripod, since daylight too strong i'm gonna try night shots.

Yeah! the ND 2, 4 & 8 refer to the amount of light that can
be reduced entering the lens. The higher number will have
the ability to reduce more light.

If you have ND 4 and ND 8, most likely you can reduce from
two stops to three stops. ND 8 will be very useful in bright
daylight.

Of course any tripod will enhance your camera steadiness
when clicking the shutter. Make sure you don't move the
phone at all when clicking the shutter button.
Enjoy shooting! :s22::s13:

You can use photography super clamp + a ballhead and/or mobile phone holder

or if you have selfie stick see if you can detach the phone holder and screw onto a mini-ballhead + super clamp

Or this also not bad. Just need flat surface.

Battery

Was in KL and managed to ration the juice from my battery for 2 daze straight without charging with the following settings.

- on firmware V10C (rooted)
- most of 3rd party apps permission(s) denied
- total 70 installed apps/games.
- 10 email accounts (work & personal) all running constant push
- majority of the time whatsapp and surfing
- 7 shots taken with camera
- FM Radio approx usage 2hrs
- 9 calls (total time 32 mins)
- On average, wifi 80% of time remainder mobile network
- phone brightness level 40% (Auto)
- Using G4 since, July 2015

Very satisfied with the phone thus far and only gripe is that WiFi can be a tad spotty at times other than that, all is good. Standby time reminds me of my G2. Anyway, below are the screenshots taken last night.

How do u deny permissions in lollipop?

Thought only marshmellow has it

Tks
Using 3rd party app.. LBE Security Master.. But u need to be rooted. Been using this for ages on every single phone I've ever owned. There is a whole thread on XDA abt LBE. (Edit: but then I'd recommend just wait for marshmellow wheather ur rooted or not cos if u install wrong version or settings u may run into a bootloop - so pls, read the xda thread carefully if u wish to attempt this..)

2 other points I failed to mention was that after upgrading from 10b to 10c I took the opportunity to do a full reset of my phone. Read somewhere on this thread someone had better battery milage after that. Also, I recalibrated my battery. I've notice recalibration only seems to work on LG phones. Did recalibration on day one of using this phone.
