My LG G4 seems to be stuck on boot screen displaying LG Life is Good..keeps looping, tried battery pull and then power on again but same thing. Tried to do a factory reset via the button push combo while powering up- was given the choice to perform a factory reset but after clicking "YES" it went into the boot screen loop again.

My G4 is running stock firmware updated to the latest version on M1. This happened suddenly while i was whatsapping..phone just froze then re-booted...

Anyone have similar experience? Guess the mother board is fried or something?

Try diagnosing if it's really ghost touch issue first. Open up QuickMemo and leave it there -- see if the phone draw dots or lines by itself. If it does then it's really ghost touch issue. Two ways it can go from here. One way is it may get worse and ultimately cease, but result in a touchscreen deadspot (as with my old LG phone). Second way is you can go to LG service center. Show them the QuickMemo thing, tell them its likely that the phone came with a spoilt digitizer, get them to replace the screen.

Im using dual SIM as well, no problem like yours.

i went down to the service center before the tech said he had nv heard of such problem before =-=''.. he then check everything and say its fine so they offer a factory restore using their PC there and ask me to monitor.. after i went home i actually use my old g3 to capture video of ghost touch... but have no time to go down again..

most likely mobo gone case... quite a common issue i guess...

Yes sounds like motherboard spoilt. I recently had to replace mine on my G4 when it suddenly shut down and would not turn on anymore. The good thing is they only took 3 days to fix it. Quite efficient service. Oh and just something to note, the service centre requires original warranty and receipt.

try and flash a new version over it, the earlier versions of v10a had some issues with touch.

Singtel apps? You shouldn't have restarted your phone when you turned it on for the first time. That restart installed the bloatwares.

Hey bro. Haven't flash it yet but I don't seem to get affected by it. So far last night with Wi-Fi on all night, it deep sleep all the way without any of the wakelocks. So far happy with my phone! Except it seems to drain battery fast when using. :/

Hmm you are most likely correct, was nearby, so dropped it off at the LG service centre. GUy at counter commented likely a hardware issue. Looks like phone will be away for at least 3-5 working days..

Yes! Okay didn't know their referred as the holy trinity. I've yet to fully do up the settings for the amplify too but already achieving 0% wakelock through out the whole night.
