To all trial reviewers:

We have already confirmed camera and display superiority. I think you should focus on everyday usage, i.e. battery life, presence of stutter or lag or crashes, Smart notice, etc. Uploading photos taken by camera would be good too. If possible, can record screencam to take us on a LGUX tour

Also wondering, are you guys holding leather or plastic back?

I also realised that nobody pointed out what lens and sensor sizes is the front camera of?

Finally, want to ask you guys? Are you thinking of getting leather or plastic? Leather is more premium but will get smelly, dirty, spoilt over time

These are the qualities when upload to Facebook direct from app with their down-res process (android FB restricts uploads to 960 pixels, the only way I know for you to upload at 2048px on the road with android is to open m.facebook.com in a browser window).

Manual, ISO200, 1/2sec shutter, handheld. No editing, straight out of camera.

For comparison, below is the one uploaded in full glory on photobucket.

Possible to do some shots with tripod and also shoot in raw? :)

The OIS was off for all these shots?

"LG appears to have gone to war against the lag seen in some of its previous phones, smoothing out animations and producing a generally fast, responsive UI." - Android Central

Thank goodness for this, let's hope it's as snappy as Sense

Read my 1.42pm message posted at page 42.

However, we don't know the lens maker, we only know the camera sensor size & maker

Thank you. I have the Nokia 808 and currently using Nokia 1020.

If a balance of software ecosystem and great camera is what we are going after, then definitely I will ditch my nokia :s13:

Had enough of the hassle from using my wife's android phone to check on some apps for daily informations.

Wah both two awesome camera phones. My Nokia 808 died on me. :( but yeah when Lumia was my daily driver, I had to fall back on someone else's android or iPhone for certain things.

I will be using it as entertainment & photography device (it's a hassle to transfer whatsapp & contact over just for 30 days). LGUX basically does not have much difference over G3 since LG always update their interface with each update (same as HTC, Booooo to samsung where you always stuck at same touchwiz even after update). I got the plastic back, I think someone else got leather back. Sneaky LG staff, lending us Not For Sale unit to ensure we return everything by the end of next month.
