yea i had hopes for v20c fixing the drain after v20a and v20b, but it only fixed the standby i think. drain while usage was still horrible

after a similar experience with Samsung's OTA for the galaxy SIII from one generation of android to another, I'm beginning to get wary of long term support from all these companies.

I mean they technically do support updates to newer android versions but if they're going to half-ass the software development and ruin stuff like battery, i'd rather stick to the older but more reliable android version.

I was out of the office yesterday, just checking my email, using Whatsapp and a bit of FB Messenger app on 4G. I unplugged my phone from the charger at 8am and by 12pm it had already dropped to about 60 percent, brightness level 25%. The usage drain after I had updated to MM is ridiculous!

On Wifi the battery drain is a bit more stable, but it seems like MM and 4G make quite the difficult pairing... :s22:

Just got back my phone from service ctr due to the not waking up issue.
Basically they changed everything front and back, including the screen and the metal by the sides. Only things remind are the battery and cover.
Now i got to get a new screen protector...

when i was on MM, gsam battery monitor kept showing me something called logd that was consuming a suspicious amount of battery life. initially i thought v20c would resolve it but it didnt and thats when i downgraded back to lollipop

Suddenly having this problem with my earpiece since yesterday.

While it's plugged in, it will auto increase/decrease volume. And the power button will become unresponsive when it's plugged in.

Anyone know where to get replacement original LG earpiece?? :(

Go to LG service centre if yours is within half a year.

wifi problem after MM

after updating to MM, I noticed that even though I am connected to wifi, it is forever "searching" every few seconds. When streaming music, the music breaks up every now and then.
Any idea how to solve this wifi problem ?

can you please provide the step to flash the rooted image to V10C?

I have just flashed to 10B using LGUP.

Is LL V10C the most battery efficient?

MM V20C is really damn **** in terms of battery life.

Thanks!

Im on V10c cos i couldnt find a V10d kdz for H815 so I dont know whether v10c has the best battery life but anything LL will probably beat LG's implementation of MM

I seemed to have noticed that my phone having some screen burn issues.

The screen burn area is the top status bar with the time, signal etc, the thing is, for some reason, the screen burn area around the time only shows 11.10 AM instead of a few numbers overlapping each other.

I also thought that screen burn only happens on AMOLED screens.

Thinking if I should send it in to the repair centre again since it gets hot easily despite being on a 601 motherboard.

Will probably add in a note to them, telling them to update/downgrade it to the latest LL version instead of MM. :(

Edit: Phone has this weird sound when I make calls

Send it in! Send it in!

It can happen on LCD screens too.
You can try to see any of the LCD burn in videos that are on youtube to see if it fixes your burn in issue :)

Cheers.
