as long as you buy local with receipt... The phone should still within warranty... G4 not yet one year old..

As service centre now. Quite a long wait. So whoever gg down, jus take note. It will also take 2-4 days to repair.

Haven't had a bootloop yet though.. I had my board sn506(no bootloop issue) swapped out for a 601 the last time I went to the service centre.

Now I am worried that they didn't apply the 'fix' on their 601

I believe the G5 interconnection between the battery and the phone will fail over time.. Lets see what happens 6 months down the road. LOL..

I emailed lg support regarding that and at first they kept insisting that I bring my unit down for them to inspect without a guarantee replacement of the board. Eventually, they gave consideration that I am overseas till the end of my warranty period and had my board replaced.

Then no point in repairing the phone liao. The amount that LG quote for the repair, you might as well just buy a new replacement phone.
