seems that s6 cam takes more vibrant photos.

auto focus g4 wins hands down.

really torn b/w the s6 and g4. which one is better. lol

If you can't decide between the cameras, then compare the other phone components such as whether you prefer removable back with microSD expansion (G4) or glass-metal design without expansion (S6). Or perhaps whether you prefer LG or touchwiz UI. And when more details come out, battery life, performance, etc! Many more factors for you to consider :)

thanks for the honest comment! :) I am still learning how to process raw. Any good websites that offer tips to intro?

Hey you got me wrong. I didn't say that your edit was bad. I'm just saying that maybe the raw format doesn't have enough information. Since its sensor is so tiny anyway. :) nice photos!

"Ok guys some more shots. This time G4 and Note 4.
All photos are taken on auto mode for both phones and
HDR On. This is just a quick test. I find that some colors
like red and purple are more accurate to real life when
taken by the Note 4." - Yamihamir

Thank you Yamihamir for posting the results between the
G4 and the Note 4. I was wondering why the corridor shot
of the HDB flat taken by the G4 is so noisy as compared to
the Note 4.

Overall I find the the Note 4 has lessor contrast and the
colors are more natural. But in the shadow areas, the G4
will be able to bring out more details as shown in departmental
shot and the Coca-Cola shot.

Yah I also notice the corridor shot having more noise. LG G4 highest ISO is 2700. Note 4 is 800. Hmm.. I set both on auto though.. I will try to take another low light shot and see how.

That explains why G4 shot so grainy.
