Previously it was solely only 505 sets that were affected.
506 etc were thought to be unaffected.

It does seem that this particular fault seems to take a little "time" for it to occur.

My is on 21April.
The phone keep boot loop so how can i retrieve my data ? My phone os is marshmallow is it problems about the software ?

Jus collect my set from service centre. Gotten the 603 board. Hope all is fine. On andriod 6.0 the firmware.

A few pages back I posted a solution to retrieve your data.
Saw it on XDA forums:
Put your phone in the freezer (yes the place where you freeze your meat and ice creams) for approx 20 min. It should boot normally. Then connect your cable from your laptop to your phone while it is still in the freezer, and copy out your data as you normally would.

I've personally tried this method successfully before sending my G4 down to repair.




On a separate issue, anyone knows where I can buy a replacement frame for the G4 (other then from LG).
Also, anyone wanna trade/sell their battery cover? I have a red leather flip cover. Looking for a normal battery cover, preferably leather version. Do PM me. Thanks!

Most early adopter of G4 only have 1-2 month of warranty left.. I do hope that LG will not charge $$ for a change of motherboard even after the warranty ended as clearly they have not fixed the boot loop issue even after a motherboard change.

I also 505 ma.... died last wednesday, so your friend 1 week longer than me currently :vijayadmin:
