For my phone, the indicator completely red.

Finally collected back my G4 from service centre and was very pleased that they changed my motherboard from 511 to 604 even though it was still fully functioning. Took quite a long time for the servicing, almost 4 days. I guess they got their hands full with too many bootloop G4s.

If the phone faulty again, have to pay liao.

remember the "phantom input issue" for my G4's replacement screen? The one that occurs when plugged in to certain 'quick chargers'?

I originally said I could only observe it on the valore charger I had. I've been able to expand my testing

The samsung and aukey chargers have no issue, the other two have the phantom input issue.

I'm using the Prolink intellisense 6 port charger no issues with phantom key press.
The valore on the other hand confirmed definitely causes the Phantom to appear.

is your prolink a quickcharge charger though?

one thing i can at least say is this problem is a purely G4 new batch LCD thing, as I have tried the valore charger on my mother's old G3 and new G5 with no issues. Since my chargers will probably outlive my G4, they're still worth keeping for future phones.

You sound like the LG CSO when I described the issue to them. "Only use LG chargers. Problem solved"

while i understand that 'compatibility' with 3rd party hardware/software is not within the scope of customer support in the service centre, that doesnt change the fact that if the device itself cant properly work with those 3rd party things (especially when others like the G3 and G5 work fine, and even more especially when it worked on the G4 too before they started using the new LCD batch), it decreases the usability value of the device to me.

This is the same problem that the G4 has on marshmallow with SD card write access to 3rd party apps (even though the G5 also on MM suffers no such issue) and is 1 reason Im never upgrading to MM on my G4

I think you mean based on serial number? If you bought your phone from telco can ask them to send you the contract

Yes I used Sony and Aukey quick chargers before without experiencing any issue. Sony UCH10's input is at 400mA.
