I'm interested in the battery life. ;)

Sent from 4one using GAGT

I didn't have time to charge it fully so I started the day with 76%
I was on full brightness since I wanted to test it out, battery drained quite fast as I kept turning it on at work (new phone, excited ma).

By lunch it was 45%

Battery life will be one of my main focuses in the next few days, at least let me try when it's 100% first heh.

Some questions for trial users..

- now that we have seen shots by the rear camera (brilliant, I must say and thanks to Chai_Latte) can we also see shots from front camera (need not be your selfie :vijayadmin: but preferably, a night shot in/outdoors?

- it does have a notification LED now does it?

- Sound quality of speaker when playing music or watching youtube videos?

- FM radio transmitter? (yep, am old fashioned but comes in handy when travelling otherwise, data charges for digital/streaming radio will kill.. :s22:)

- were there any wireless charging case(s) on display while you guys were there? (hate the flip case though..)

Appreciate, your valuable input.

The sound is pretty amazing, for the first time in my life, I had to turn my notification volume down.
I watched some K-pop vids (as there are alot of HD ones), the sound was really loud and clear. Bass is very decent considering its a phone. In fact it's so loud that you can feel the phone "vibrate" if you're holding it.

I use the old nokia "TEET TEET" msg tone, at max volume. My boss came to my office all the way from his and told me to shut the **** up jokingly. Really powerful.

Wireless Charging - I saw it at the event, honestly, not impressed with that 'hole' design. But this is very individual preference la. Aliexpress already selling casing since last week, I won't be surprised if the wireless receiver that you can stick to your batt comes out really soon.

-I didn't see FM radio on the app list
-didn't see any wireless charging case over there, just flip case & the leather case.
- Haven't really test out the remaining questions you asked, would let you know again!
it doesn't have FM radio maybe because it's a Korean model.

Thanks for the info.

That is nice to know that the speaker rocks. Yep, don't like LGs flip case either or any flip case, for that matter. Hopefully, LG will launch a backcover that supports wireless charging like the S5 or G3 otherwise, will just wait for after market stick on battery kind like what u have suggested. Tks.

Interesting fact. Didn't know you guys got the Korean variant for trial.. So what does it like have an antenna at the side?

what is your brightness setting? did you on auto brightness? according to LG...this quantum IPS only more efficient than G3 screen by 11%...so i think the power comsumption wouldnt really make too much different..

Actually I don't mind no quick charge, coz got extra battery charger can make sure there's a spare batt anytime to swap. Also dunno whether the fast charging is good or not for the battery's lifespan leh.

Does ips display consume more power than amoled in general?

These are the qualities when upload to Facebook direct from app with their down-res process (android FB restricts uploads to 960 pixels, the only way I know for you to upload at 2048px on the road with android is to open m.facebook.com in a browser window).

Very nice pictures taken!
