Another thing is I am waiting for the drop test of the G4 on tech sites. Haha I definitely wouldn't want to do the test to my set. But I believe the phone will put up quite well to drops. Don't know if it is just be but I feel that the screen/glass feels much more solid than my Note 4 or my brother's S6 edge. Plus its curved inwards screen should help the screen from hitting directly and flat onto the ground.

Most of the cracks are due to direct face down impacts. I think the g4's curve screen would really help alot. The drop tests for s6 edge seems pretty bad. It's now 2x likely to crack due to 2 glasses. :s13: Me too, can't wait for g4's drop test.

Given that G3 price has dropped, I wonder is it worth it to get G4? Is G3 good enough for such pricing?

My bad, I just had the impression that it was bad because of some videos I watched a few weeks ago. But I can't seem to find them now. maybe it's just the initial few videos that I've watched or I made a mistake. It actually had good reviews. :)

Yeah not possible to change all 3 settings at the same time. I wish that they had given us this ability too and also the 3 metering modes like in Samsung S6.

If you change the exposure first, then change the ISO and Shutter Speed...I think that works

cant do it. the moment you change either shutter or ISO, it will grey out the exposure wheel and you cant use t.

Haha doubt android will have specs like that and still remain a powerful mobile

Sent from Sony D6653 using GAGT

There is. The Galaxy Zoom/K series.

To be honest, i use my L1020 during lectures where the huge mega pixels count come very useful. I could have use my m4/3 or fuji x10 but those are bulky where L1020 just slip into my bag or pocket. For usual day to day phone, the camera or S6 and L1520 is more than enough.

To the G4 testers, are you guys experiencing that the google play services is always displayed as high battery usage in the location settings tab under recent location request. What puzzles me is that I switched off sync, and manually push my emails. I didnt use the weather app. Set the setting to refresh manually. Even all this, Google play services is still displayed with high battery usage. I wonder if its bug? I think this is the cause of my not so good battery life. Hoping to hear from other testers how are their battery life?

This is a known problem of Android 5.0 and 5.1.. We'll just have to hope it's fixed in 5.1.1. Or perhaps you can try some of the user-suggested fixes (google: "google play services battery drain")

Have you tried changing the location access mode to Battery Saving?
