Thinking of changing my Z3 to G4 due to the poor camera quality. Read through some forums and found out that the major defects are the touch screen sensitivity and "sleep of death". A bit hesitating now...

Many of the smart phone manufacturers from China, America,
Korea and Japan are struggling hard to compete with each
other for a better slice of the cake.

At the current rate we noticed that those who are adopt quick
change and listen to consumers' needs will flourish.

Keeping to the slim, thin look and waterproof don't seems
to work for the majority of the consumers. So most likely
the Japanese products from Sony will suffer unless there is
a miracle.

V10 is too big and too heavy for me. Went to play the demo set with v10a software and the phone was a bit sluggish. Anyone experienced it before? Is it common for LG phones to lag? Thanks.

No demo set at the moment. Only read the hands-on online. Z3 is 152g and I think it's a bit heavy to hold while V10 is 192g.

Haha, we see the point now why they are not selling well,
perhaps one of the main reason is trying to keep it lighter
for certain type of consumers.

The heavier ones from Apple and Samsung are pulling off
the shelves fast. Imagine carrying the first generation
of "tie kor tie" from the M king of mobile phone in the 80s!

tell me the time where people own smartphone and don't use data/wifi. if you're using them means the screen is likely on.

Iphone 6s plus is about the same size n weight as v10.
U can try holding it.

Yeahhh. The quality is really bad on Snapchat............ Tried feedback to them but still same.

Why ah ? Is it because i choose " Simple " instead of " Auto " or " Manual " ?

Can the DNG format be change into JPEG ?

dng is the RAW format. if not wrong you can use Lightroom or Photoshop to edit/save it.

Hello,

I have a relatively dumb qn as a soon-to-be first time rooter...but I can't seem to find much info about this.

I know before you root your phone you are always advised to "backup your data". So when I root and flash the phone already, does my app data get restored also? I figured if I just manually copied everything to SD Card it won't backup the app data, so...I'm not sure if possible, or is there a special software I can use to backup the phone?

This is because of manual mode, which you may have selected to save in raw. You can choose jpeg only so no issue.
