hey bro thanks for compiling a list.

Just a suggestion to everyone. I think it would be better to drop a post here only if you are affected otherwise, am afraid this thread may explode out of control on this topic alone. :s13: It seems to me only a handful of ppl have been affected by this issue and only XDragon has come forward thus far, with his affected set ESN date. We need more affected set ESN dates to come to an viable conclusion, if any..

I nearly bought it but had to rush off for work. Starhub staff were still in the process of unpacking it. Will probably do it tomorrow evening. The 2 leather back cases are from LG Korea. The 128sd card is bundled inside the box with the phone. The promoter I spoke to also not sure what brand it is.

But it's the dual sim variant better than the single sim?

Anyone bought the dual sim? Haha.
Wonder the free leather case and 128sd card is in-house branded or lg branded.

Interesting. SD card not in-house branded. Then it can buy. Tempting lol

I wish the black version also available too. I'm torn between G4 and V10... Lol..

Haha...if you are having a hell of a time making a decision,
here is a tip:

1. Get the G4 and enjoy the the manual camera with the
fastest f/1.8 lens for available light photography and
at the same time save some money for the accessories.

2. Get the V10 if you want the latest and the most powerful
flagship device from LG which is not only more rugged
but have dual screen plus the built-in three cameras.

3. Remember, you won't use the phone for more than three
years, so once the next flagship is released, you are sure
to upgrade because it is going to be much better than
the V10 as in comparing it to G4. The next one could be
G5 or the Pro 3 that is on the pipeline. :s22::eek::s22:

When to hands-on dual sim model.... The white cover very...... Rubberish matte feeling...m

I saw it today. Not keen on the phone after I realised that the corners are rather squarish so I find it harder to hold compared to my Note 3.

Think I shall just wait for the next model...I prefer V10 cos of the wide angle front camera

Just to check, how's the flash like ? Same as G3 ?

I find that LG G3 flash is too bright for comfort when taking people in dark conditions. A lot of them complain that the flash too bright and too long (pre-flash for focusing). End up the everyone in the photo looks really uncomfortable and have to squint their eyes.

I think iPhone and Samsung S series implement their flash much better and with people in mind.

Do G4 flash similar ?

Do G4 flash similar ?

People who knows about photography seldom use the flash
on their cameras (smartphone, dslr, compact etc) because
the most natural photos are those taken with natural light.

But if you really need to lit a subject with the flash, you
can either diffuse it with a diffuser or tape a soft tissue
over the flash.

More tips here:
http://www.wired.com/2015/08/take-better-flash-photos/

Even if you have the most expensive camera, you have to
learn how to diffuse it to get the right amount of soft lighting
to blend in with the available light. :s22::s13::s22:
