Check out the LG G5 up-close at selected M1 shops before it's available for sale. This photo is from the M1 Bugis Junction outlet. An LG rep at the store mentioned you can get the phone in a a week or two.

Yup still looks ugly.

The V10 is still a better phone from every aspect.

This girl is just so **...:vijayadmin:

As a matter of fact, she is one of the better reviewers out there. She scrutinized all brands, not just LG. She is very particular to phone builds and screen displays especially.

The bottom pull out part is a bad design. I am sure after sometime, its going to get some gaps or uneven gaps, and become loss.

Sounds like many comments here are skeptical of g5?

Anyway why im rooting for g5 is small size compared to v10. But my patience is growing short coz im using g2 and its slowly dying lol

Every phone whether it is in the flagship arena or not will have
its strong and weak points.

The G5 is designed with a smaller size screen for those who are
so used to the smaller screen and with the die hard habit of
typing messages with the one hand operation method.

Larger screen size users won't be keen even if it has a faster
and more powerful processor than the SD820 and with more
Ram than just 4GB.

On the positive side, the G5 is the first modular design phone
with its many add on for those who are seeking a different
and richer experience from a smartphone.

There would be more takers if the price of the phone is lower
as compare with phones of similar capacity from the
competitions.

However LG has to allocate some budget for promotion and
marketing, so the cost of it has to be be loaded on the selling
price of the phone. :)

here's the G5 main camera at the M1 outlet at Waterway Point at punggol

unfortunately i forgot to disable the HDR so bear in mind the above is a HDR shot

i guess it's indeed the same as the G4, same strengths, same weaknesses I can observe.

looks like singapore isnt getting the silver colour too (brochure only mentions the other 3 colours)

The word that people say about how you can 'see through' the phone on the lower right because the bottom cap doesnt go in flush and there's enough of a gap for light to pass through, is actually true. May or may not bother you depending how OCD you are

The 'plastic feel'... just go to any shop and touch a matte xiaomi phone like the Mi4i, same sensation.

Also the display units havent got their software update so they dont have the settings option to pick the "home and app drawer".

this is the phone. its a little easier to hold in 1 hand than the G4 but due to the size i'd still probably hesitate to get any 'thick' bumper case if using the phone 1 handed is a priority

but honestly, her review is mostly about how bad the unit is because of the light bleeds etc and its because of the unit she brought, you go check other reviewers see they got complain same problem anot lor if out of 10 reviewer 9 got same problem then i nothing to say la. she simply suay as fck thats all i can say right now... and this one certainly is not a problem for me. and i personally tried the G5 at JP singtel and it felt great.. and i did not see any uneven gaps at the modular area as well.. , the camera of g5 is really stunning.. who never get g5 just lose out lor.
