Yes you can get one through other sources but that would be a taking a risk in terms of product reliability and warranty and not to mention a higher price instead of the pwp offer.
It's a bit disappointing though with all the news of launch date bundles and availability not to mention hype.
On the other hand it's good that LG pulls it out now(I'm speculating here that there's some hardware issues with the dac module instead of the some fcc ruling issue mentioned around the web).
I can wait though but for how long I'm not too sure.

my mother's G5 has been hibernating in a drawer till the screen protector and case arrive from ebay but regards to the fingerprint sensor issue, I tried it and it can definitely be a bit irritating if you rely on the power button to lock the phone cos your finger contact on the button might re-unlock the phone again.

i guess at least there's still double tap status bar to lock the phone

Took about 1hr 20 min to charge from 0% to 100%. Rmb the upgrade to QC 3.0 is more about an improvement in charging efficiency (less heat) rather than speed.

I have using this small app < Screen Lock and Off > to Lock for years!

Put it in the Dock for easy access n matter whatever page you are at. Super useful!

yeah my parents both use that app too

in my past i also used it together with nova launcher, assigned the double tap gesture to that app so that a double tap anywhere on the screen will turn off the screen. these days i just double tap status bar

I'm also using tronsmart 2.0 but with dual ports becos I've a few qc2.0 phones. I'd hv gotten the 5 ports with 2.0 but the size is too big and not that portable so got a 2 ports instead

Anyone know if the korean DAC can work with the local G5 here?

The korean DAC is model AFD-1210,whereas i was told by local LG that SG model is AFD-1200 (which i think is the same as UK's model). Better not run the risk!
