Just joined the party!

Want to ask you guys about the dual standby that I've been reading about. Anybody with experience in countries without 2G networks?

I'm planning to go Korea for exchange, and I'll get a sim card just for calls and texts. Data I want to use my M1 line since data passport will give me more data for less. In this case, will I face any problems?

Can recontract end of June, thinking about getting g5 or s7. Advantage of g5 is cheaper for my combo2.

Anyone can recommend?

For a damn good point & shoot, get S7.
For a interesting manual camera experience, get G5

Of all Friends, which 1 is worth getting? Am thinking of the 360 Cam but not the Cam Plus module. Does the Cam Plus really helps in photo taking?

360 cam is a much better choice.
The Cam Plus extends the battery life only when taking photos and the grip is OK...but the 360 cam gives you something really different

Regarding LG 360 cam, so far looking at other ppl footage taken with LG 360 cam, quite disappointed with its vid quality. Was hoping for a decent quality, but what I have seen so far very blurry vids. Not sure if this is youtube 360 issue or something.

I noticed that this phone was already preinstalled with a screen protector when I purchased it with Singtel.

1) Is this a normal practice for LG phones? I've never encountered this with other brands.

2) Should I remove it and apply a tempered glass screen protector instead? The default one seems to be a fingerprint magnet.

1) Well by right all the phone got their screen protectorout from the box, just that competitors like to use it to list down all their special features (like samsung always write a big AMOLED on it), which LG don't really see the need to showcase on it, so they just leave it as transparent = free protector

2)It's up to your preference!

As I said I tested 4g + 4g card .second slot only 2g.

Not all users use 2 sim. The second slot act as sd card.
Very annoyed when people say second slot can't use 2g = useless.

You might want to try manually upping the resolution to 1440p. If you don't put the resolution to 1440p it does look quite blurry...Youtube tends to put the default resolution quite low even if you are on wifi

does anyone know where i can buy a cover that fits the g5 + dac locally?

Don't think you can find any. You can try GMarket. Search for Voia G5. They have a case for G5 + DAC, G5 + Cam Plus, G5 Duo (interchangeable DAC or normal slot). EBay has the same thing but pricing wise much higher

Same, I have tried that as also suggested by others. No diff, still blurry.

I've got my youtube to always use 1080p/2k if avail/I will choose 720p in office, since my office laptop sux, but yup, already tried the 1440p.

Anyone has problem with the phone keep hanging or their youtube video hanging for no reason with sound still playing at the background?

My current G5 has been hanging on and off and become unresponsive since 1-2 weeks back. Overall it's been a great phone except for this problem.

Any solution to this?

Just received the cases from GMarket. Interestingly the box said the case is licensed by LG.
