How to do that?
I found the app from xda. Tbh, it works way better than the stock camera. The hdr+ enhanced is so good!

i was still using the older BSG ones from last year, tried the one above by cstark and its a definite improvement

BTW bookmark this link
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/

BSG, cstark and other devs who work on this HDR+ app have updates posted there.

There’s not exactly scratches on the lens but rather on the coating. Do notice, I recall the Cso telling me it is a $39 fix or something. I will go there beo beo and ask them when I drop off my unit this week

I noticed you didn't use any film or glass protector over your camera lens. Did you notice any much scratches as found on the Internet?

i had this problem with my G4 before cos the AR coating really cannot make it and wore out so easily. end up buying a lifetime supply of replacement lens covers and switching to new one when the coating wears off.

these kind of things the service centre will deem as cosmetic damage and not covered by warranty

The G6 so far seems better off, since the camera has no hump maybe its less prone to being scratch

Just to check, is V10m the latest software for our local G6? Reason I'm asking is because it's still running October Security patch.

correct, V10m is indeed the latest, there have been no new G6 updates since Nov 2017

I remember! Mine’s dust under the camera lens, hence I would like to get it checked out!

Will polywatch work well in removing the AR coating?

i didnt try removing the AR coating

last time HTC M8 coating also had similar issues some people suggest using toothpaste to remove but I dont want to mess around with my lens

if yours really was dust got inside, have no choice but to get the service centre to clean it out for you

Recently started using my G6 again and downloaded the Gcam with portrait mode functionality. This has given my phone a new lease of life. Portrait mode is fun to mess around with and it works on the front cam too.

Photo quality is improved, esp on the selfie cam. Images are less sharp and a little more noisy in low light, but it's much more natural and detailed compared to the horrible post processing applied by LG stock app.

Full replacement of G6’s glass back with lens is $58.85 with gst :zotto:

Cheaper than Samsung for sure
