Those using G7 may I check what security patch everyone is in. Mine is November. No updates is OK. Security patches will do, LG support says no news.

Mine shows 1 November 2018.

I actually don't like Android Pie. It disables call recording function and kills 3rd-party call recording apps.

That's true, it's not for everyone. Many ppl do not like the new gesture based 2 button nav bar, and the new app switcher is a step backwards.

I just want the multi-app feature, to allow multiple whatsapp accounts etc. my wife's asus phone had that 3 yrs ago!

ANyone upgraded to G7 from G6? Is the display screen width the same? I know the display size got bigger in G7 but what matters to me is screen width and not height because width matters more in reading. I use the phone mostly for reading.

When I upgraded from G4 to G6, the width got smaller although height got taller. This made me regret upgrading to G6. I hope the width is at least wider in G7.

Same width. Go for lg v40 if you want wider screen.

If you're using a call recording app to record phone conversation, Android pie v9 will disable this app. This is why I would rather not have Android pie.

That's good news. According to some reports, your voice can be recorded but the voice of the other party is recorded at much lower volume. Is this a problem with LG G7 after the update?
