Is it really necessary to get a 36 month loan? If paying upfront for a TV is tough going, I think it's time to assess if it's really needed. It's not like medicine, or baby food. It's a want.
So make sure one can afford it before committing to such a large sum. Cheers

some retailers offer a half and half payment... so maybe like 3 to 4 k cash and the remainder over a period of time? certainly easier on the wallet instead of committing one shot

If it's 0% interest then why not? Just need to make sure that you don't stack up too many concurrent purchases.

Thanks. Got quotes of around 4.1 with free gifts for 55 inch and 5.8 with free gifts for 65 inch. Sales guy mentioned prices were changed 2 to 3 weeks back. So I guess these would be the final cuts until 2017 units come to market?

I got the following quote for the OLED55B6T:

3299 w/o any free gifts. They will also give $300 choice voucher (this one I must keep, any do any trade in). On top of this LG is also giving u either a Blu-ray player or a sound 360 Bluetooth speaker (this one must keep as well).

Is this a good deal?

Cheers.

Yes, 3299 with $300 choice voucher. The promo now is different, they only give you a 49" TV (can trade in, 3299 is after TV trade in). The Blu-ray Player & Bluetooth Speaker is some extra gifts (Tier 2) for the LG promotion which you can choose.

I am also looking at E6T as well but from what I get is that LG is not really pushing E6T so the discount is not that attractive compared to the B6T.

Anyway, you can have the 65B6T at about $5000 +/- after all the discount and trade ins.
