wow! didn't think they would bring in the "B" class TV's
I actually thought all hope was lost and they'd force people who want flat OLED to pay more and buy the E6.

But to be honest, I expect B6 and C6 to be the same price, and based on Best Denki brand-new pricing, C6 is $600 lower than E6. Personally I feel the 2.2ch integrated soundbar of the E6 is not worth the additional $600 ... that $600 will go towards part of my Yahama soundbar fund ;)

pete mentioned though that the C6 - and most probably the B6 as well - have a slower chip ... but then again how slow also I'm sure won't be slower than the EG9xx series, yes?

B6 will be slightly cheaper then c6 from what I know. Definitely will be faster then eg9 series. It probably be around same speed as c6

Looking around for a 55 inches to replaced for spoilt TV and I was drawn to this 55EG910.

Read the threads and most agree that a FHD OLED display beats a 4K LED display in terms of image quality. Went to the showroom and the image quality is impressive. Pretty keen to buy especially with the current price of below $3k and FHD suits me currently due to lack of 4K contents.

However, the salesperson told me that OLED display is prone to image retention burn-in, especially with the channel logo at the top right. The salesperson showed me the warranty clause that these image burn-in is not covered by warranty.

Appreciates feedback and comments before I commit?

OLED displays when they were first introduced in 2014 had plenty of issues. In 2015 the displays were better with some problems solved and in this year 2016 the displays are reportedly problem free so you do get what you pay for.

Unfortunately, if I am not mistaken, the OLED displays in 2016 are all 4k.

Thanks for the assurance.

The 2016 models are out of my budget and hence, I'm looking at the 2015 910T models. However, I'm reconsidering my options now.

One other difference is the lack of 3D support on the B6 which looks fantastic on the E6. As for the slower processor, it's been reported to contribute to a larger time lag in game mode. Hence, those who intend to game with the B6 or C6 may need to consider this factor. Likewise, the WebOS experience is said to be slightly sluggish compared to the E6 and G6.

Here's a pic to whet your appetite further

I guess that salesman won't want to sell you the oled because he told u about burn marks only , only other brand salesman will tell u this maybe he's from Samsung lol . So far never seen any comments about burn in issues , just get the 910T really value for money the picture quality is just too good for the amount spend .

There will be a 55b6t in stores next week. . For those who likes the e6 but hates the built in soundbar here's your chance.. will update when I see it in stores

Just for info - asked the shops and the B6 isn't part of the LG red deals (No free tv and no vouchers).

Quite silly if you ask me - in the end the B6 price is almost same to the E6 cos of this.
