So far since I got the phone yesterday, battery life has been a dream compared to my g4. Currently with 2hrs sot at 64% mind u that's only cellular without wifi. My g4 would had been flat.

Xiaomi's adaptors are like half the price IIRC

for like 20 bucks I would have just gone ahead and got an usb-c cable, all phones in the future will be USB-C anyway

Xiaomi's adaptors are like half the price IIRC

for like 20 bucks I would have just gone ahead and got an usb-c cable, all phones in the future will be USB-C anyway

Xiao mi also have? Care to share location of the shop? I can get more USB C cable also. I dunno much about Xiao mi because got phobia on their phones. Bad experiences previously. Not sure about their accessories.

yes, i also ordered few pieces for my N7, now can pass on to use for V20.
i remember quite cheap like maybe 3-4 per pc, ordered from qoo10

I was passing by Sim Lim Square today and i picked up some Remax USB-C cables, 3 for $20, available at quite a number of handphone accessory stores there (they're probably all owned by the same guy). I've noticed that Remax cables are also being sold at Toy Outpost stores across the island.

I recall people mentioning in this thread that Remax cables may not be 100% safe but I've got 6,7 of their Lightning and USB cables lying around the house and office, and they've always been rock solid. Not too many cheap alternatives right now, unfortunately

Thanks a lot for the link! I had 2 remax lightning cables and they work well too! But then I had micro USB to lighting adapter because of a 3 meters micro USB cable which I used in my room, all the way to my bed. Hence, I preferred adapters.

That would be me. Do note USB C is special in terms of the 56k resistor which many cheap cables DO NOT have.
This as a result causes your phone to pull more current from the charger/usb port which will result in your port being damaged.
So far cheap brands are a hit and miss, some are ok, some are not.

As for the micro usb adapter, $18 is a complete rip off lol.

Ignore the price of the adapter, it's not imp to me. Ask u, does USB C adapter pull more current as well? Simply saying, is it safe to use adapter for charging using micro USB Cable with USB C adapter?

If you guys were previous owners of n7 then you should have two sets of usb-c and adapters. Theres no need to buy extra.

I'm previous owner of Note 7 but I got no enough cable and adapter. Need for home, office, car, my pouch, my parent house if I go there.

Coz remax is dirt cheap all over TB. So are the "branded" adaptors
