What kind of charger you use to go with it? Are the cables really fast charging? Or normal speed?
At office I share a multi charger with my colleagues it's a power hub with 6 ports of 2amp 5 volts . Not fast charging but decent enough as I spend more time at desk , charges at normal.speed . I have tried the same cable with fast charger of note 5 and it works fine ..
As in fast charging works

The photo is very impressive. Good take. Certain terms very technical to me. Shorter secs supposed to be better? I normally auto all the way. :D

the more seconds you keep the shutter open the longer the camera must be held steady to avoid motion blur, which makes it harder to shoot photos handheld.

However for shooting night photos or anything low light, you'd need to keep the shutter open to capture enough light or else your picture will just come out almost black. thats why tripods exist, because some long exposures are so long that its humanely impossible to shoot handheld

When you shoot auto, the camera will keep the shutter speed within the limit such that you can still shoot handheld. in order to ensure the photo can still take in enough light, the camera would then bump up the ISO to make it more sensitive to light, but this has the drawback of making the image noisier and less low quality. Thats why for any camera, when you compare a daylight to a night shot both in auto, the night shot always seems grainy and inferior quality

Did a factory reset and installed the game app as the first app.. tried to play and it was really laggy... Decided that it is probably not going to change anything... I just continued to install back everything.. if there is any person here whom has a fast LG v20... mind if you could try installing dynasty war :territory clash... try playing the game and putting troops in a swiping movement... as in touch and drag ... do you all experience a bad lag? if yes then it could be the game is not configured properly for the phone or android 7.0... if it is smooth then I will be heading over to LG to get an exchange.. I maybe having a lemon set... appreciate the help. Thanks

You can try settings --> Battery & power saving --> turn off Game battery saver

Anyone using different launcher? I'm using smart launcher pro and it's very fast and nice. Only problem is double tap to lock screen, it will activate administrator password when trying to unlock using finger print. Anyway to work around this?

There isn't, unless you're rooted. That's how it works for all third party screen locker/launcher with screen locker function.

i am using nova prime , and with that u can use double tap to lock without root , you will need to give NOVA admin right to lock . so no need of root , I am using it .

best time to buy Nova as its going on sale for $0.99 only

What happens to your original LG cable? I need one for use with my various samsung chargers at home. Very ex to get original charger as spare. :(

The original one is used to charge my phone at home. But that is using the Nokia charger instead, so no fast charge. In office I'm using the new cable with the original LG charger, with fast charging. I need longer cable for my office desk.

You can double tap to lock using Nova (not LG's implementation), but won't be able to unlock with FP afterwards, will require either PIN/pattern.

You can't unless the lock mechanism is using a timeout instead of immediate lock after double tapping to lock. The timeout mechanism is a workaround to the issue. You will see a black screen after double tapping, but if you swipe anywhere on the screen, it will redisplay the screen, because it's not locked yet.

Go Amazon look for Choetech. It's one of those tested by google Benson Leong to comply with USB C standard. No worries about frying your phone. Its much cheaper than the original LG one. I got a pack last month of 6 (4x1m, 1x0.5m, 1x2m) for about USD$25. All able to support fast charging. Been using in office, car and portable battery pack, so far very happy with it.

Using Google Now launcher, so far no problem with double tap to lock and unlock.

Yes, it is. What I meant was Google Now does not impede with LG's double tap function.

No, it doesn't, but the question was using another launcher with such double tap to lock functionality instead of using LG's implementation.

This was discussed before (probably in another thread, most likely was in N6P thread, since that's when Google first released Android FP implementation). Any apps won't be able to lock either using double tap/other gestures without the need to unlock using a pattern/PIN. This is not a bug and/or limitation. Google never gives API access to app devs to the Android smart lock mechanism, hence no Android app devs will be able to make this work flawlessly without root.

As mentioned, the screen timeout mechanism (by blacking out the screen after using the double tap/other lock gestures) is only a workaround, which won't trigger the pattern/PIN unlock.
