Anybody experience battery drain whenever the phone wifi was on searching as the router was off through midnight??
It drained more as compared to when connected to a wifi. Used to be 1% every 3h. Until I woke up and realised its 9% every 3h because my router was off and my phone kept on searching.

I meant that if I leave my wifi on but not connected to any wifi network drains more than connected to a wifi network?
Coz my family member off the router so my phone did not connect to any network and I think it keeps on searching for wifi network to connect hence the drain. :s11::s11:

Your data is on? Most of the time I also turn on my wifi when I am outside, but no issue.

it might be that your phone connected to Mobile data instead as wifi router was off.

and this tends to drain more as well especially if signal is not so strong at your place.

I am upgrading my LG G4 Dual Sim to LG V20.

What do I have to take note of when I do a backup.
Currently, I have a 128 GB MicroSD card.

The Apps I have is APK manager, SMS Backup.
How is it possible to backup WhatsApp?

2nd things is, does it come with the free battery pack and the does it sells X.One screen protector on the market?

Specifically for Whatsapp backup: https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/android/20887921

Officially, no more free battery pack. LG is pushing promos for G6 only now. Most of us just buy the battery pack from Qoo10. Same goes for the screen protector you wanted: http://list.qoo10.sg/item/X-ONE-SINGAPORE-EXPLORE-MOBILE-EXTREME-SHOCK-ELIMINATOR-ARMORVISOR/511606432

Hi , New V20 user here , some questions need souls here to enlighten me with regards on software update.

I'm currently on 7.0 , is it advisable to do a update ? Set is from starhub , target to update version via otg is
Version: V10c-DEC-14-2016 .

another question is , if it's good to update , then if there's anything else which is advisable to do before and after the update ?

Please advise .

Thanks

Its already v10e for local sets. Just update it and let it slowly find the next update again.
Nothing much to do as to just make sure your phone have enough battery to go through the whole updating process.

Anyone else here do the Aux mode / high gain trick with both 75ohms impedance adapter + right angle L Jack on the V20 ?

Comes across this trick after searching on the net yesterday regarding the V20 soundind , onboard dac and its volume .

Managed to bought the required jack on eBay , can't wait to experience the result if the trick actually works to trigger the 4 onboard dac on the V20 , AUX mode / high gain mode with iem , headphone under 50ohms impedance .
