There will be NO secondary screen on the V30. This is pretty much confirmed.

Also they are making a smaller version of V20, called LG Q8:

Weird things LG is doing. I wouldve thought the selling points were the secondary screen, dual camera, DAC and removable battery.

Now 2 out of those will be gone.

I find the secondary screen useless. Will prefer if they remove it and make the phone shorter or main screen bigger.

Hi guys, I have shortlisted the LG V20 as 1 of the candidates to be my main phone, together Sony Xperia XZs and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

However I have some doubts and I hope some of you hear can share your experiences with me...

1) How is the battery life of the phone? I understand that the phone drains a lot of battery power compared to the Xperia XZs and Galaxy S7 Edge.

2) How are the photo qualities of the main camera for night shots especially in low light conditions? Any sample photos taken by anyone?

3) Anybody experiencing bootloops with the V20 so far that has plague G3, G4, V10 and some G5 phones?

1) I don't have S7 Edge but V20 usually use up 50% regular texting/web browsing in 1 morning. I top up while taking lunch nap

2) If you like auto mode go with S7, if you prefer manuals V20

3) 1 year old no boot loop yet

Anyone managed to change their display due to the burnt screen problem? What is needed to get them to change if unwilling to?

I had my V20 main screen change.
Called the Service center and ask before going down.
They told me to bring my receipt for the phone for warranty claim

Mine is also very laggy, especially when using camera, bad to the extend that wanted to slam the phone on the floor... Not sure if too many apps on my phone, or is apps conflict. Didn't want to factory reset yet, hang on until I can recontract in Jan 2018.

Anyone is experiencing lag in V20?

Lag still persists even with the phone reset to factory and restore.

Anyone has solutions? Thanks

do you have a microSD?

i realised with the mSD in use, the phone tend to lag quite a bit. So ill usually eject it.

ever try using the Clean Master to clear the cache and ram?

I have got an irritating problem with my v20. There seems to have some sort of "cpu cool" pop-up message whenever the phone runs hot playing with games. I couldn't find any installed 3rd party app that could be related. Is this something on the LG OS? Anyone having this issue?

Yes, at first I also think it could be the mSD (saving photos to mSD) that causes the extreme lag, I switch the storage to internal, but the problem persist..

Actually, the phone was buttery smooth most of the time, however when using the camera or sometime playing game (just some match-three puzzle game type), at certain point it can become very lag.. my previous G4 never have such issue.

I had the Clean Master since day 1 (have not used Clean Master at all in my prior Android phones) of owning the v20, it will occasionally prompt to clean cache, junk etc. I performed the cleaning, but don't find it effective..

Careful of this happening to you!!

Was charging my phone and 2 hours later my phone charging port melted. Went down service center said my charging port has water damage, but all my water indicators on battery and phone is still white. Even if there were water damage it probably is due to the charging getting so warm at times cause condensation. Now LG just push away the case and say warranty void, either pay to repair or leave phone as it is. I am lucky it didnt catch fire!

Even if it's water damaged, it shouldn't be like that. It's a safety risk. And suggesting leave phone at it is? Lol maybe you need to raise that to higher ups. You have a good case here.
