To be honest there is a possibility that this might be an issue in our country. Don't forget our humidity here sometimes can cause glass to crack under certain conditions. Don't dismiss this issue, but pay attention to it.

Anyway.. Jerry's test when scratch is after removing the plastic... with the plastic then is less likely crack? Even his scratch test, the crack was few lines unlike the picture in this link, looks like purposely cracked it...

Isnt the plastic like the basic plastic covering any new device's glass components? Like when you buy a new phone usually isnt the camera and screen covered by some plastic that youre supposed to remove? I mean I doubt a tiny layer of plastic can shield the glass from impact-caused scratches anyway

Like when you buy a new phone usually isnt the camera and screen covered by some plastic that youre supposed to remove? I mean I doubt a tiny layer of plastic can shield the glass from impact-caused scratches anyway

Jerry's test was scratching it with a "hard" tip, then awhile later it cracked.
The plastic on the glass seems pretty hard to take off, so leaving it there probably won't affect picture quality I think.

He also commented got screen protector comes along with the phone out of the box. Not sure about Asia set. Hope those who gotten from GoniGlobal can confirm. =)
