I highly doubt LG will have the same demand as Samsung and Apple. Sure, might sell out first day but high chance nobody knows got launch also.

To be fair to them the G4 screwup was really very disruptive to many users who depend on their phone a lot. Can't really blame them.

Shucks. I have a Starhub recontract voucher of $50 valid till 31 October.

Plus this time I am eligible for CIS discount for the plans *and* I am intending to downgrade so that's about $40+ reduction per month. And CIS handset discounts come to play too (but they will even if I only do it in November). Was hoping I could recontract asap so as to get the reduced bill amount started asap.
