Just curious, from what I have been reading, the Quad DAC only works with the LG app for Music. Understand that the Quad DAC does NOT come into play for apps like Spotify, Streaming Apps, etc over wired earphones.

nah...not true for v20...played with the phone for some short mins yest J8..theres a function to on/off the dac..straight away i test the audio player...i hv to say it sounded really good when used with my jha roxy..quite close with my cowon p1 using Burr-Brown PCM1792A .. wish i could test further but some others r Q ing behind...

Vulpix bro , on the poweramp site after I installed the beta I see users say the poweramp beta still havent added V20 to the support list so you cannot have the toggle HI-RES audio so the DAC wont turn on with the poweramp

Oh and by the way you need to download beta 4. It works so far with hi-res enabled.

Check with you guys.I'm using a pure black background. Under sunlight and auto brightness, sometime the background turn slighttly greenish. Not sure if anyone encounter the same?

I like the burr brown. Have the plenue m and I love the pairing with my c435. If the sabres can give the plenue a run for the money, I'll use the V20 as my main audio device
