Something I don't quite get - for all those not too pleased w the photos taken by auto mode, esp in low light scenarios - why can't you just use a 3rd party app? Isn't this only a software issue (and not hardware, e.g. like the flare issue of the Pixel's cameras)?

I dunno about others. But since there is a stock camera module with the phone, I will expect it to be good point and shoot. If the processing algorithm is not good, then LG has to tune it. 3rd party apps are not for everyone. Not flattering Apple here, but this is exactly how things just work for iPhones. For those who like advance tuning, then getting sophisticated 3rd party camera apps are their choices. And TBH, I do give credits for Pixel point and shoot capabilities.

While its true that an app can do certain things (eg. the beauty modes that smooth skin), sometimes the issue lies at the deeper level, eg the image signal processor, and regardless what app you use, it's all going to look the same.

looking at the shots that kopi22 posted I don't believe using a different app will make much difference.

LG type of cameras are really meant for manual, if you want auto, I still think Samsung/Apple can deliver better.

Do they have battery kit instead just spare battery?

I use those universal charger. Slow but I leave it to charge overnight. Need to check with LG about battery kit. Not sure. I didn't ask them.

Another thing. Lg v20 uses nano sim right? Note 3 use micro sim so how i copy e contacts over ah? Need some type adapter or how cause last x when micro sim to micro sim counter just do for me.

I think most ppl now a day sync contact using google. Easier no need to copy.

LG service centre is the one at Alexandra business park there ?

Very inconvenient to go there.

Hey guys has anybody tried their phone with:

a) a USB OTG hub, and can it power your portable hdd?
b) the usb-c adaptor with the old micro-usb slimport dongle and successfully output to hdmi?

Cheers

Oh cool, does it work with a portable hdd?

Reason I ask is the Note3 and Note4 were beasts when it came to powering OTG peripherals and were able to power my sdcard reader together with my 2tb WD hdd with no problem. The v10 however, was quite useless in that department. Hopefully with usb-c implementation the v20 is able to power those up...
