Welcome abroad to enjoy life using this device.
If you think it is a problem then ditching your previous
device would be a bigger problem isn't it? :s13:

Many still didn't know the outcome of having an LG device
and still wouldn't make a move to change, but soon they
will realize how giant like Apple will want to work with LG
for improving and reinventing the camera on their next
phone? =:p

Huh but the LG camera is not that good, auto shots didn't turn out good.

My S5 lasted me for barely a year. Was using Note 3 until my contract ended just recently. Not a fan of samsung's "fixed battery" brick phone approach. And recent samsung saga just make it worse. Have trust in LG.

It's the s/w implementation. LG s/w post processing is still miles apart from Apple's, sad to say. I believe the hardware is already there.

Have been using the v20 for a while since the note 7 was recalled. v20 feels a lot larger and harder to use. Even the metal back feels a lot more slippery than the note 7 glass back. Camera wise, the note 7/s7e is still better but lg has a better manual mode.

I noticed that my v20 battery percentage not accurate when it is at 100%. It will stay at 100% for quite long then suddenly drop very quickly to 96%.

Hi, you may want to get it from UAG Official Website. All cases are on Black Friday Sale on the website. It is cheaper to get it now on the website than to purchase from the mobile shops in Singapore.

UAG is very good for phone protection. It gives u the grip needed. But its a little pricey.
On the other hand, a cheaper alternative, you can look at the Ringke Fusion onyx cases. Not as big as UAG but still protects well with the military standard drop.

I just got my V20. I have set my fingerprint but every time when i try to unlock using my finger, it ask me for my pin. How can i just use my finger to unlock without another step to input the pin?

You have to activate double knock to make fingerprints sensor work . Go settings/display/advanced settings, select knock on. :)

Yes. Happened to me too. If activate double knock, then I am able to unlock straight away. Otherwise, it will always prompt u to key in pin or pattern. The fingerprints sensor works perfectly for me now. Just touch back button, home screen appears.

The knock-on selected at advanced settings seems to be a must if u secured lock screen with fingerprints sensor.

The V20 is milspec rated for drop protection, you shouldn't have to worry about that, tbh. UAG cases are also milspec rated, so this is probably overkill lol. that said, while pricey, UAG makes some of ther best stuff on the market.

I still have a UAG case I got for my iPhone 6S, while it was bombproof, it added a little more bulk that I was comfortable with and I ended up using a thin Ringke case.

When it comes to the V20, I personally don't think you need to stress about drop protection too much as LG has made a solid phone. I don't think you need to go overboard for protection so something thin enough should do fine.

Just feel like kiasu-ing just because it's a new phone. Probably will end up abusing it like 6 months later by sleeping on it or throwing it everywhere.

I also feel like getting a case for the v20. Looking for a thin one, not for drop protection but to make the phone grippier. It's one of the most slippery phones I have ever used.

First time for me to own a "metal phone"
my past SAMSUNG phones has always be a "plastic phone"

now i start to feel the irrational fear of dropping my V20
