A very noob question. Now buy new phone need to charge the battery for 8 or 12 hours ?

These days I don't see the need. No diff actually. As long as full charge good enough. Eventually, the battery will 'calibrate' itself after a few charges.

It won't be 8 hours. The v20 battery can get a full charge within 2 hours. It's around 1%/min, at least with the Apple 12w charger I'm using.

3 days into usage only and i dropped and scratched my phone already on 3 sides, my cover just arrived in the mail today when i was at work, touch luck. Anyway do your v20s unlock immediately after you scanned your fingerprints? Mine lags for 1~2 seconds

Noticed mine sometimes ard 1 sec, sometimes immediately after the slight vibration to indicate it managed to detect a fingerprint scan. Nothing too long though.

The 2nd screen is actually useful. Its probably one of the few features that makes this phone stand out. Some thinks its just a gimmick.

Anyways anyone knows how to separate out the burst pics? The gallery app combines it all together and makes it as though it is an animated photo.

Smart doctor is indeed very smart. Can diagnose which apps are eating up our battery. Can even suggest how to cure them. :s13:

Ah so it's not just me la? I thought my V20 was buggy with how slow WiFi was considering my Note 7 (bless it's fiery soul), Tab S, PS3/4, and even laptop have no problem getting sick speeds in the same area.
Yeah. Came from a note 7 also. On note 7 with my home WiFi, never get the YouTube buffering. On V20 with same WiFi, occasionally will get the buffering.

Talking about YouTube, anyone knows why for V20, the pause button and controls never disappear after awhile? Got to click on the small cross at the bottom right before the controls hide. Don't have this issue with all my other android or iOS devices.

Native YouTube app works fine on mine. Its updated already. And no X to close anything except probably when there is ads. You might have install something that has a layover?

Wow, that's very happening.

My fingerprint scanner unlocks my phone almost immediately...

Click onto the picture... while playing through the image... tap on the image to pause it, then swipe left and right to choose what you want.

As for making into an animation, google backup auto make it for me not that I wanted it.. haha :o

How slow is yours? For mine, scan finger -> vibrate -> then screen unlocks. I don't think the speed is like those insanely quick ones where you scan and the screen pops immediately. But it is fine for me. I think the Xiaomi Note 3 unlocks a bit faster than V20.
Hmm i would say the total time taken when i scan my finger, vibrate and unlock is about 2 seconds.

For those who are looking for screen protectors this is my experience. I bought a Nillkin H+ amazing pro the glass size is small and a huge portion has white lacing. Bought from Aliexpress and seller only refunded me 4/9 usd. I waited close to one month for the nillkin. Only good part about Nillkin is u will receive a fingerprint sensor protector which I threw away the original one. there are spare sizes maybe usable for Iphones.

Spigen tempered glass on carousell cost 12sgd I didnt buy cos afraid of pasting with error.
Burlington square selling at 25sgd
Spigen one covers lesser then my screen protector after seeing from amazon photo reviews.

Simlim Tempered glass feels smooth while swiping, covers more then adequate till touching LG circle logo. Mine has slight translucent lacing at top part of second screen but only obvious to the keen eye.

In the end i headed down to simlim bought the higher end version ard $18. Results are good and one customer bought the last piece for V20 tempered glass. I will post photos of Nillkin and the one from Simlim once I get back home. I have no regrets buying from simlim.

If you like to purchase from Simlim you may need to enquire cos no stock
price includes free pasting
Shop name: W&E Global
Simlim Seller contact: 6337 3748

Yeah Im also thankful for the second screen im able to read notifications without swiping down. It could be improved if notification timing can be edited.
