Your eyes must be supersensitive to be able to see pixel on 1080p display. Well I couldn't even distinguish significantly with 2k display. I had used both types of display too and now currently having V20, Mate9, One plus 3T and mi mix. I am perfectly happy with 1080p displays

1080p is good, 1440 is better. More ppi.

i want to sync my contacts and calendar with my outlook 2016.

in order to view my google calendar on my outlook, i can only do it via webcal. and the sync is only 1 way. i can't add/delete/amend my contacts and calendar from my outlook 2016, it's in view only mode. i can't remember how did i get my contact

i would like it to work both ways, say i add/delete/amend my contacts/calendar on my phone, my outlook/hotmail account is auto updated. and upon opening my outlook program, the outlook is sync automatically.

or when i add/delete/amend my contacts/calendar in my outlook 2016, my phone will be updated instantly.

apple has a icloud/outlook sync which allows the phone and outlook sync automatically.

if i can get this workaround by storing my contacts and calendar on outlook or hotmail, i'll just do it.

i really wanna switch to android ecosystem and owning this v20.

U can solely use your hotmail acc to manage your contacts and calendar on android phones. As you have the need to sync with Outlook 2016, I see no other way as Google has disabled the Activesync feature back in 2013 so you need 3rd party software to ensure Google Contacts and Cal works on Outlook 2016. I prefer non usage of 3rd party unless really not possible.

As the previous post mentioned, for Hotmail aka Microsoft account to work on android, set it up as a Microsoft Exchange account. All cals, contacts, emails will be sync 2-ways so you'll have no issues with seeing it on Outlook 2016. For the Google account, I disable all sync except backup and some other stuff.

Not all 1080p screens are created equal. I did not say "able to see pixel on 1080p display", which means on _all_ 1080p display. Again, I did not argue that I am able to see pixel on 1080p display. As mentioned, I can't see one on my OPO (LCD), but many other ppl and I can see pentile pixel arrangement on OP3/T due to its pentile amoled display. Mate 9 and Mi Mix are using LCD.

I also agreed with benny888. I did not say I did not agree with anyone, see example above. And just to reiterate I am fine with 1080p, I am still using OPO, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), OP2. The only phone with 2k display that I have is N6P.

Anyway, all of these are off topic, my argument was not to compare TV and phone, nothing to do with whether able to see pixels on 1080p phone screen.

Hi bro,

After numerous tries, I managed to get my outlook.com account to sync with my Oneplus X.

I am not sure whether the CM13 rom is the cause of my syncing problem. Out of the 10 over tries, I managed to sync it twice. And like you mentioned, it's 2 ways via Microsoft account, though much slower than icloud on outlook.

I am convinced that Microsoft is able to sync with Android devices!

Time to hunt for a v20!

Great. Cant comment on the OnePlus or CM... but Samsung (both Note 2 and 4) and LG V20 has no issues with the sync. The contact went missing issue.. I honestly did not notice as I have 200 over contacts. So far have not realised if any was missing. Profile pics of contacts also gets sync (was not the case until abt a year ago I think).

1. This happens for a full metal build phone. Signal will be weaker as it can only pass through antenna lines.

Hi, how much u bought ur set and where? My note 4 is acting up as it freezes at times and lagging, being 2 years plus old phone and I search online many seems like having this issue as well. So I might get LG V20 while waiting for another or see how Samsung coming out S8 with Spen. Will like to know know current pricing but not buying online, thanks!
