Go to the service center and request for LCD replacement. It's a well known issue. It happens on G4, V10, G5 and V20..

AFAIK, it's called image retention. It seems to happens only on LG IPS screen. No other OEM seems to have this issue..

Is it? I went down and was told not covered under warranty. Maybe got to go and try another time then.

Omg.. apologies for the wrong info then. I got it replaced when my G4 had the same screen retention issue.. Maybe they has changed their policy.. Did anybody else got it replaced for V20?

Hi, am a G5 user with screen retention problem. Yes it is occurring on many LG models. I also requested many times for the change of screen but they cannot give it as stated by all the LG personnel that I spoke to is that the overall LG has not release on what or how they going to solve it. So they cannot anyhow proceed to do it. Yes u can force them and I was told they may do it. However the guys over there share with me of previous experiences where screens are replaced and it still coming back. This really means there is no true fix. U can keep changing the screen until u meet one lucky one. But are u willing to keep dismantling your phone by them? Keep sending in to service center?

I am also not happy with this issue, but I live with it. I still prefer phone with removable battery so no choice. Overall it doesn't affect the usability but only the image on the screen which will go off too. I hope LG engineers really do something about it...

one of the XDA guy is coming up with the root tool for our version of V20 soon.

hopefully by then, can flash some custom ROM to make the phone snappier and battery last longer.

did anyone experience loss of photos?
After taking a photo, it is auto stored in sd card. I can see in my gallery. After awhile, the photos can't be found. This happened a few ago.
Can it be my sd card for prob or the issue is with v20?

LG V20 High temp detected after update ?

Hi all, just updated my LG V20. during update A msg appeared Hi temp detected , but the update was completed . then when I try to power on the phone, the same msg came on and was forced shutdown

I took out the batt , the internal was not hot, experience this few times , phone just cannot power on.

anyone have this problem ?

i think it's the same one. there are more pics from taobao site. i will get one piece to try. about S$5 for one piece only.

from the pics i think the size of the GP is spot on. i am using a customized film protector right now so i know what size will work what size will not. the size of this glass one is exactly same as my current customized film.
