Is it because you have the Quad DAC turned on?? I don't have bluetooth audio, so can't really help also.

Hi, am a G5 user with screen retention problem. Yes it is occurring on many LG models. I also requested many times for the change of screen but they cannot give it as stated by all the LG personnel that I spoke to is that the overall LG has not release on what or how they going to solve it. So they cannot anyhow proceed to do it. Yes u can force them and I was told they may do it. However the guys over there share with me of previous experiences where screens are replaced and it still coming back. This really means there is no true fix. U can keep changing the screen until u meet one lucky one. But are u willing to keep dismantling your phone by them? Keep sending in to service center?

I am also not happy with this issue, but I live with it. I still prefer phone with removable battery so no choice. Overall it doesn't affect the usability but only the image on the screen which will go off too. I hope LG engineers really do something about it...

You hope? You have already spent money with this purchase. Dont know why LG phones so many problems after G4. Mobo la screen la poor batt la etc.

Did you try to clean the fingerprint sensor surface? I read that sometimes the oil from our finger will cause the sensor readability to be poor.

Hi guys. My v20 phone had this error yesterday. "Fingerprint not working, if problem persists restart phone."

After I restart phone, my fingerprint scanner doesnt not work anymore. The fingerprint settings disappear too. I cannot remap my fingerprint.

I called LG helpdesk. They do not have a solution for me except to factory reset.

Pls help.

Replaced it and hopefully can last.

Is the SG version also dual sim? H990N?

Collected the phone 6 days after sent for repair. LG changed the motherboard, reason of failure unknown. So far so good after 2 weeks of usage.

LG called me for survey on the experience of their service 1 week after collected the phone

The issue only happens in bluetooth audio which is not supported by the Quad DAC.

It is still usable....but makes the device seem like ...bleh

The main issue that really bothers me is the video auto pausing..... I read somewhere that it is due to anti-virus app...i just uninstalled it and monitoring again as the pausing is intermitten and happens as and when randomly.

This is the item I got few days ago from the taobao link shared above.
It's good but some bubbles around the corner(glass) have to push slow and hard. I left it for a few days before I decide to get rid of it

I like their protection casing, it's hard plastic

I also bought the two piece pack, but the protection case I received is the soft gel type which I already have two
Have not decide whether to remove the existing Nillkin Amazing H+ Pro on my v20 to apply this SP though..

Btw, this is the first time I purchased from taobao, overall experience is good, delivery is quite fast (received within a week) and price is less than a plate of Nasi Padang that I bought from Food Republic.

Okay....I can safely confirm that its the Trend Micro Antivirus thats causing the random intermittent pauses...Anybody have similar experiences?

I am concern with the amount of malicious content and malware out there...is there any antivirus programs that can run effeciently without affecting the video playback?

For myself, I have tried ESET and AVG before. Have not tried other AV. So far, these 2 are not giving me any issues. But that being said, my Xiaomi Note 3 does not have any AV installed. So far so good. As long as we are vigilant about the app sources and emails, I guess its ok.

I'm having some issues with my v20. I start to see faded icons in the notification bar. For example I have a whatsapp icon, and next to it I will see another faint whatsapp icon.

When the app is dark enough, eg. twitter dark theme and tumblr, I can also see my previous app image. Like I use whatsapp first then tumblr, I can see my keyboard and whatsapp faintly on the screen on tumblr.

Anyone have the same problem? How's the service center like?

Someone said b4 in this forum, even if LG change the screen panel, the issue might come back again so they do not officially acknowledge this in warranty. The faded icons has so far managed to disappeared after a while on mine. It comes back now and then also then disappears again. I'm accepting this as a norm now.

Oh no... but its affecting my user experience though. I guess it is a software issue? I thought it was due to water damage or something..
