Just bought the O11D mini white not too long ago and now they releasing an all-white versionThere's a O11D and XL hybrid now called O11D Evo. Also nice to see more high wattage SFX psu options.
O11 case is more gear towards water cooling builds? If doing air cooling build is it advisable to get this case?

I got an O11 XL case and used it as air cooling. Previously was using Corsair 760T casing and the O11 XL actually performs better for me.
GPU temp drop to average ~38 degree during idling compared with ~44 degree in 760T.
Mb chipset also drop to average ~46 degree compared to ~54 degree in 760T. During load, chipset will be ~52 in O11 XL compare with more than 59 degree in 760T, which resulted in chipset fan spinning(set chipset fan to only spin if above 59 degree). So now chipset fan never spin at all even during gaming.
Cpu temp drop to average ~39 degree during idling compared with ~44 degree in 760T.
O11 XL configured with 3 side fans, 2 bottom fans and 1 exhaust(all 12cm).
760T configured with 2 front casing fans(14cm) and 1 exhaust(2cm).
The rest of components are the same. Seems like the bottom and side fans really helps to bring down Cpu, gpu and mb chipset temperature for me. Reason due to the HDD cage for O11 XL is at the back of the case(another compartment), so the airflow of the fans are not being block unlike the 760T which has its HDD cage directly behind the front fans.
There is no active fan blowing at the rear 3.5 hdds. Is the temperature within normal operating range? I've read reports from o11xl owners saying their hdds temperature raised to above 55C and worse if there are more than 1 hdd.
The biggest heat generator will be the RTX3090...will shoot above 90c in poor airflow case.

Nope. I don't face high temp at all.
I got 4 hard disk fully occupied the rear, 3 normal HDD and 1 SSD. Also got 1 nvme SSD at MB m2 slot. Temperature at load is below 45 degree for all the 4 HDD at the rear. I only on aircon at night set at 27 degree. Day time no air con.

Thanks for sharing your hdd temp readout. Perhaps heaty hdd might require beefier airflow over the drive cages. Btw how's ur fan setup? Bottom intake, top and rear exhaust? Thanks.
It looks similar, but they are trying to cram as much features from o11d xl into a regular o11d footprint (more 140mm fan supports, back fan mount) that it might end up abit bigger. Anyway its still in development, so no actual dimensions yet, so far they only show prototypes. Is the new O11D EVO having the same physical dimensions as the O11D? If not, what are the new dimensions?
The new O11D EVO has a physical 'RESET' button which is lacking on the O11D and you can mount the GPU card vertically ie in a vertical upright position. I do hope it comes in a SNOW WHITE version and has the same physical dimensions as the current O11D
Anyone knows? Thanks
Yup. Could be slightly bigger in dimensions since it borrowed some features from the XL. Also, read from reddit that it might be available this coming Q3It looks similar, but they are trying to cram as much features from o11d xl into a regular o11d footprint (more 140mm fan supports, back fan mount) that it might end up abit bigger.
