I think the distro just wants to push the stock of earlier models first, quite high-handed... Seems like the retailers can't really request for new models even if customers feedback - that's what they tell me anyway.

c0oL, if all you want is a switch then just go down to SLT and buy one lah. Ask for a toggle switch (cheap) or on-off push-button (expensive) and the shopkeepers will point you to the right shelves. Get those used just like a bolt, complete with washer and nuts. Then put it in series with your inverter switch and bolt it to a hole on your casing and you're done. Chop job.

If no hole (and you don't want to drill one) then the easiest option is to use a spare PCI slot. You can find all those used slot covers (previous used for some PCI card) with some hole in it (think S-video) which may be just right for your switch to fit. Good luck!
