Some pics of my V2100:

Side by side with my Crossfire sub

Not a good idea to place a sub next to e casing. Unless its magnetically shielded.

Ever turn on all those computer at the same time before? Does it trip your house's power? If not, how about turn on all your DVD-writer to burn DVD at the same time, does it trip your house's power also? :) Just curious.

ATF, $29. Comes as a set. They also have the 120mm blower fan (for PCI/AGP slot) sold separately, didnt take note of price. The fan duct, psu cover and blower fan comes standard as part of the PC-60 Plus/PC-6070 series of casings. So those who bought that casing will already have all these plus the side panel foam.

Now waiting for the Lian Li Thermal Meter TR-3A to arrive.

The fan duct is meant to help exhaust hot air to the rear fan direct. I modded the duct by connecting it to the rear of my case (on the outside) so that it directs hot air away from my case instead. So most of our cpu coolers blow air downwards to the hsf/core, then it is not so useful. Suitable for those whose cpu fan blow sideways towards the rear, or like the Alpha coolers, suck air bottom up. The fan duct will guide the hot air directly to the rear fan for exhaust, instead of being recycled into the case.

The length and angle of the duct is also adjustable, using 1 LL thumb screw.

60_plus_feature.jpg

Another way to look at it is to use the rear fan to suck in air from the rear and guide it to the cpu directly using the fan duct.

Yup, it has always been my intention to place the duct outside the case, and also cut off some noise from the fans. :)

Hmm....i should make a trip down to ATF to see see look look on this. But my main concern is whether if the 120mm blower, will it be noisy? I cant stand noise fr my case :s34:
