do it facing up, you should not have a problem with lose screws falling in the PSU during PCI adding or removal as most screws are thumb screws which is big not to slide into it. Reason for Lian Li to design the PSU fan facing up is to draw hot air out from the bottom, if you face the fan down there will be minimal area to draw the hot air out.

agreed,

if you ever face it down, it is either for cable management or to separate the airflow for the vga and psu :)

I did a swop with the psu fan facing up but dun really like the psu cables seemed to be quite messy due to not using a modular PSU. any suggestions to better cable manage?

i think your cable management is not bad.. main thing is the airflow through your hdd and vga card, which seems to be quite fine.

Just changed my casing from Lian Li PC70 (which I'll sell soon) to Lian Li A7010-B :D

cable management improved alot

I removed the vertical graphics holder beam (in the way of things) and also the hdd cage, since I don't need it.

sighs, my PC 7077 too old liao, no replacement for its USB/Firewire module. got a reply from Lian-Li.

zzz no reason to change to another Lian when its only the USB/Firewire module spoil ..

Had been very happy with the amount of space and number of 5.25 bays for mi to play with and add self made mods ..

looks like there is not other Lian in their current line to exceed my good ols 7077 .
