Belkin. The coloured ones or the metal one. Costs around the same as Apple's orig. Also mfi certified. Price was as of recently concluded Sitex though....

I still prefer the Apple cable - anything wrong within 1 year, the warranty period, just call Apple & they'll replace 1-for-1.... Done that twice already.

Think TS is looking for cheaper alternatives to Apple's offering. But also MFI certified. Verbatim is pretty good with 2yr warranty and immediate exchange also.

I am using 1.8m Anker Power Line Lightning cable. Bought from Amazon. Quality is superb and so much cheaper.

Can get it replaced even if the cable is bent near the connector? Thanks.

Yup, as long as it's within the 1-year warranty period shouldn't be a problem.

My 4s - 2nd cable bought from Apple Store; less than 1 yr, frayed like hell near the connector; 1-to-1 exchange done.

My 6+ - cable that came with the phone - had "accessory not recognized" prompt in less than 6 months; 1-to-1 exchange done.

Don't go to the aas; call up Apple hotline, explain to them & ask them to send the replacement cable in exchange for the spoilt one.

Use a micro usb to lighting adaptor sold by apple + any mirco usb cable.

Pro:
Change only the usb cable when broken
Choice of cable length and type

Con:
cost more
slightly bulky
