the brightness is more important than no. of bulbs. but nzxt strips tend to be quite dim. not sure about this. brightest for me so far was Akasa and the sim lim tower ones.

for me the brightness on my nzxt sleeved leds are just nice. it's more for mood effect rather than illumination. if you want convenience, adjustable brightness and don't want to use a odd bay, id recommend the nzxt sleeved leds.

i've the red strip one. i think it's ok on a chassis non-tinted window (nzxt cases). but on my Air 240 tinted window, it was just too dim. but tats a personal preference.

those coolermaster sickleflow are cheap. bizgram should sell. but try to get better ones. less noisy and better airflow.

if you're using a locked cpu then probably just whack the coolest looking ones. like mine, the xigmatek frostburne is all white. white fins and white fan too. i think would like pretty nice in your rig.

i bought deepcool strips
deepcool-rgb-color-led-kit-6435-831061-1-catalog.jpg

easiest to use and install plus the controller is quite small box.

only thing is to manage the wiring. you can just use one strip if your tower is mid/ small

i have not yet explore other controller type as there are better lighting effects out there. deepcool one has only 2 type of glow effect flash and breathe.
