Too bad his team members don't seem as strong as him...
General observation, not picking... This seems quite common among many, so always find it amusing or funny with the mentality when people kpkb no talent, then when there is one, kpkb the rest not talent together also. Quite illogical, don't know what really want. Many think that talent/genius are like road side cabbages, anyhow pluck also have. Even with incumbent there is only one ah-gong. Look what happen after that, none come close to matching and its a mess. History have taught that most of the time, as long as there is one exceptionally good one, can save the day, the rest even if not good enough also can play supporting role. Even if all are talented, surely one will be more talented that the rest and take the lead. If all try to be indian chief, then is really going to be a mess.

Wah! Basically highlight the worries from the ground. Must be surfing the net. Seems that others heard also but many may not want to voice it out in public like that. Wonder why.

Yes. saw his speech last nite. He pressed some hot buttons that bugs everyday Sporeans while our dear PM talk about SG50, ISIS & regional threats.

very good speech from Lim Tean, yeah he's a very promising opposition candidate. Talk bluntly about many of the key issues facing ordinary singaporeans. Of course PAP have no answers to these key issues since they are committed to the 6.9 million (despite their feeble assurances that it will not come to 6.9million, yeah right maybe like 6.8 million eh?).

Compare this to the PAP candidates who lack passion and drive, keep on repeating old arguments and achievements, they really look tired and uninspiring, how to lead singapore when they have run out of ideas? they don't even make any attempt to try to correct the problems they created and insist that theirs is the correct path, that's their biggest mistake.

Wha piangzzz draw CPF to go for hajj.. then the rest of their life live using what ar?

He is in touch with the Malay concerns... many of my friends say it is their life long ambition to visit Mecca in their lifetime, it cost about $12K per person (maybe more now not sure). So if CPF only allows those who not met minimum sum to withdraw $5K only. Those affected won't be happy.

NSP must have done their homework well to pickup all the things that concerns common folks.

lim tean is probably 1 of the brightest opp star in this election
his talk is quite sound, if 1 person ward i will definitely vote for him
but sadly his team not as strong as him
Tony tan is not bad too.

You have not seen his team members in Tampines (save Tony Tan), let's be patient and wait for tonight rally.

NSP had consistently given us surprises (in both good and bad ways) 2011 they presented Nicole Seah, and this year Lim Tean.... they may have other surprises for all we know.

Tonight, I am going to be glued to NSP rally.

haha NSP website crashed after the airing of lim tean on TV

jin Satki sia!!!

Singaporeans Flock to NSP.sg Causing Temporary Website Crash.
Late last night after the airing of the Party Political Broadcast delivered by Lim TeanNSP Secretary General, the website
NSP.sg crashed due to sheer volume of use.The media team scrambled to solve the issue.
The traffic flow statistics revealed this was not an attack but rather an organic surge of users in high volume.
The figures reveal a massive increase in hits and views, reaching almost 600k by day 3 of September.
“We were taken by surprise” a member of the media team reported.“ We have been monitoring traffic and we can see that for example, after the live debate on the 1st Sept when various Singapore forums were awash with praise and excitement over Lim Tean’s performance we saw a spike in activity then. However we had no idea that by day 3 we would see so much more or else we would have increased bandwidth at that time.
It’s a quality problem. We are so happy that netizens are mobilized and using the internet in such volumes to find out the information for themselves rather than wait for MSM to deliver it to them. Thankfully the Party Political Broadcast was very late, so by the time the website crashed we were able to restore overnight and it was back up by breakfast time. So aside from a lack of sleep for some of the media team there is no harm done”
The NSP were quick to add extra bandwidth to cope with the new higher traffic volume, and will be prepared for the rest of the campaign.
When asked which pages were viewed the most, the media team spokesperson replied “by far it was the manifesto page. It seems to be that once people heard Lim Tean’s speech (and the live debate) they came over to NSP.sg to check out the actual core issues the party stands for.
This is important and exciting because it shows a new political behavior from Singaporeans, to research and discover for themselves so they can make an informed choice on polling day. This is exciting news for opposition parties like the NSP who cannot always rely on fair representation in the mainstream press”
