Limited Express Hinotori

Hi guys,

I am buying a ticket for the Kintetsu Hinotori limited express between Osaka and Nagoya, for my upcoming Japan trip. Based on the official website, I can buy the limited express ticket online in advance.

For the basic ticket, my understanding is that I can buy at the station itself on the date of travel or just use IC card. Would just like to confirm my understanding is correct.

Yes... the reservation is for the limited express seats only... You still need a basic ticket to get into the station which you can get directly at the station on the day itself... or use your IC card...

I took this for my Osaka <-> Nara day trip... those good seats you need to fast hand fast leg go online to buy... they get sold very fast...

When the conductor do checks on the train, can just show the screenshot of the e-ticket?

I dun remember got any conductor doing checks on the train… maybe my journey too short… but I suppose screenshots of the e-ticket will do…

After u do the reservations… the confirmation email will instruct what to bring for boarding… credit card that is used for the purchase… e-ticket that is either printed or can show on phone… and a basic fare ticket…

Hi. I intend to purchase this hinotori train for the namba Osaka to Nagoya trip . So for the basic fare ticket ? All I need to do is to tap my IC card into the gate and go in and exit and plus the e ticket for the limited express that I need to show if request ?

Yes... can just use your IC card or purchase a basic fare ticket on the spot at the station...

I went to kintetsu website . It allowed me to purchase basic fare included limited express seat too.

I think they revamp the website... I dun think there is this option last time...
