sadly no longer warranty. any good and cheap place to repair this minor defect?

first, determine which is causing the problem. the video card or the screen.

do a screenshot and see if the photo has that line.

it's the screen. line is not evident in screenshot

Replacing any Macbook's screen is never cheap. I suggest u send it back to the authorised service centres for a safer servicing.

if u can live with it then fine

else output to external monitor and use as clam shell mode.

repair from authorised store is going to be very expensive for lcd screen.
