Any recommendation for Debian and Centos remote desktop?

VNC, NX, SSH(with X11 forwarding)

X11 across WAN is not good and too chatty, that's where NX and VNC comes in better.

You can also consider using a local Desktop Linux VM as your jumping point to your distant Linux server.

give X2GO a try ... install on Centos and then download the client for windows.
