I never seen him before and I did ErP.
to be serious, the school sucks. i am glad I have finished the course. compkete waste of my time n funding. If u wish ti be a sap consultant after the course you can forget about it.

I am not defending for the school as I am not related to the course, school as well as the person.

But I know one thing, when a person start their first job 5-10 years ago, we depend heavily on advertisements for job vacancy.

Now time starting to change, advertisements still work and we may need to depend on our networks.

Thrash talking is strongly not recommended as this build within you and once you have such "image" towards them, it make things harder to work in future. We never know if we will cross path with them. Alway keep a healthy bridge and dont burn any bridge.

How come you decided to quote me and reply within the same day.
I don't see you quoting the other bloggers who expressed their sentiments about the school.

For all i know you were a student or employee there.

This thread ws posted because people are interested in knowing about the course.

Being young is always full of adrenaline Rush. When you have accumulate sufficent experience, you will shed the light and be on same page.

You are always welcome to check with this ihl on my records if you have doubts on my word.

Make more friends are better than making enemies. This is the advice I could give you. If you wish to pull strings on other ihl or training organizations, just shout out. I may able to pull a string or two.

Sap or erp is never my forte. Some how I manage to cross path with a guy working in sap.com before. Being too long not in contact, I lost him.

The person who is doing all the trash talking is you. You don't seem to be able to accept people's point of view or opinions and brush it all off by saying others are trash talking, burning bridges and now adrenaline rush and being young.

Age shouldn't matter.

You already said that you are not affiliated with the school in any form. So how do you know if any of the person/s who claimed to have studied there, who expressed their opinions are wrong or loop sided? Instead, you assumed that people are trash talking.

Do you always behave like that? When you dislike a user expressing opinions and you must lecture? It is really silly and narrow minded.

What I see is a user who cannot accept that people are individual and go on the forum want to express, share their stories or frustration.

I do not care if you single me out. I am bothered by the fact that people like you cannot accept others expressing their views.

By the way, you have yet to answer why you did not single out the rest who also gave their opinions. Ofcourse, perhaps you rather lecture others than justify your action.

My experience with the school is not a happy one. Service is bad, to the point of non existence, not all lecturers are qualified. That is my point of view and it is based on experience.

So what are you going to do?

Are you going to lecture me for trash talking, again? If I had found this forum earlier and read comments by WilliamKai, I would have most probably did more research instead. I wouldn't say or even think that the user is trash talking.

I believe there is always a reason why people say and do.

Afterall, people come to forums or search the internet for reviews. Based on these information, they make decisions.

You are full of energy. I am trying to enlighten you and your energy could use at a better way.

I do not gain a single thing to enlighten people, and people don't appreciate.

A grumpy person alway will grumble over the slight thing without knowing the right facts.

If by pointing fingers at me, make you a happier man, please go ahead.

I took their Express IT course, it is a very basic cert for you to enter the entry level role in the IT industry, more suitable for people who want to change career or people with no IT background.

If you already have a Diploma or Degree in IT then this will just act as a refreshment course.

Quite often, they will host career fair for the students. Mainly the outsource companies will participate in the career fair and most of the jobs they offered are IT Helpdesk, data centre operator (12 hours shift) or Technical Assistance job in School.

Their classroom and environment are quite conducive for study with adequate PCs for all my practical lessons. When there is no class, they will also allow you to use one of their PCs in the classroom for you to practise your practical lessons.

For the trainers, mainly base on luck as you might get a lousy one who just doesn't seem to be knowledgeable in the subject and not helpful in your queries. If you are lucky, you will get someone who are able to explain the topic in layman term for you to easily understand or the trainers will share with you their real life industry experience for you to learn. Some trainers are even kind enough to help you get a job by recommending you if they have lobang.

The students they choose still need to improve as most of my classmates are noisy and doesn't seem to be serious in the subject.

why did u choose to take up the course? if i am not wrong u have experience in IT before already?

i think the real main benefits of taking up this course is for their connections rather than the course content..

I did not have the formal qualification in IT, took their course as my 1st step to enter IT.

Atleast now, once in awhile I will get calls from recruit agency to offer me those entry level IT jobs.

Last time can't even get 1, lol.

They call to offer you? Or just call you for interview only ?

If offer, that's great. Had been thinking of signing up for this course last time but not sure because of bad reviews. And also that they kind of "bluffed" me to go to their IT career talk

Nicf may sometimes appear as a full courses being break into several parts.

If u r asking for ccna, it is no difference if u r going for ccna directly or icnd 1 + 2.

Don't you think that cert is too costly ? I think it was around $1800 after subsidy the last time I checked but that's after subsidy. Which means the course is $6000 for just a basic certificate, not even a graduate diploma.

Even the NUS graduate diploma in Information systems costs around $9200 (only $3200 more) for Singaporeans but it's full time and no further subsidy of course. But the Singapore polytechnics such as Nanyang polytechnic also offer graduate diplomas across a wide field of IT and only costs less than $1000 after subsidies.

Hi, I am currently a Lithanhall student.. they did not move to paya lebar yet currently at Comat along anson road. I want to ask a question about IT career..I have no IT background what so ever but I am planning to go into IT security. I know MCSA isn't going to help so where should i go? Im thinking to go for part time diploma in Kaplan because I dont want to quit my job in M1 as a "network support engineer" -.-' ..I did consider to go for poly but it takes too much time..im 23 and I think im starting late..so kaplan is my choice..I want to go into security line. Please tell me where to start, what course should I take..i dont even know if this is the right place for me to post my question.
Hi, sorry that I come here too late, if you are looking at Security related job role you may want to consider the CISCO CCENT since and I hope your are still with M1 as a Network Support engineer and follow up to the CISCO CCNA Security. After which you can go after other vendor Security certifications like CCISP.
