For high risk patients who kena covid like the immune compromised, patient with active cancer to prevent hospitalisation and death.
Comes with it possible side effects just like any drug.
Don’t think it’s intended for the general population.

Paxlovid is actually 2 pills.
1 is Nirmatrelvir and the other is ritonavir. The latter is added to boost the concentration of nirmatrelvir to be effective against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
