i mean at this point we should not comment much because as mr pritam said, she has not been charged yet, only investigated. so you cannot say what she did was right or wrong at this point.

but from what he said, you can tell that he stand behind his party members yet still believe that if a mistake was committed, they should pay the consequence for it. he also said that they should not sanitize their past just because they are coming out to be a public figure because in a way its like "lying" to the people.

I have to agree on that. If the apology was heartfelt, how difficult is it to speak a few sentences of whats truly in your mind ? Reading from a script without looking up just seems like you were forced to read what someone else drafted.

I think this Raaeash lady should be given a chance given that there is much more potential advantages than disadvantages having her in parliament. Those remarks that she made in twitter probably did come off the wrong way and can sound super offensive, but there must have been some sort of personal experience for her to even post that as a 24 yo.

I think WP is a very credible opposition and hope that sk peeps who have the chance to cast their vote really consider this. You can't expect a boomer or gen-x to stand up and think in the shoes of ppl in their 20s and 30s. I find this group, which I belong to as well, severely under-represented in parliament. You need someone who have walked the shoes of this group to understand, just like how so many potential candidates are talking about their humble origins and suddenly, trying to speak in dialect too.

We can leverage on Jamus plus have Raeash, hopefully be able to be a voice for that age group. And last but not least, I doubt anyone behave the same or have similar thoughts as they had 2 years ago.
