I am curious to know who is Klopp Plan A replacement for Cou. I bet he has all along anticipate this. From Ryan Kent's statement, i think Klopp likes Kent's attributes and techniques.

Recently got link to Ajax's Ziyech but I tot is becoz of lallana injury but now might be becoz of Coutinho leaving

If only we shown more ambition by signing more plan A players

It's not the lack of ambition. Matter of their clubs not wanting to sell them. Much the same as LFC wanting to keep Coutinho.

VvD also submitted transfer request...does that mean that we will definitely get our man?

But yeah, I just feel sad but also quite frustrated...why is it always that the moment RM or Barca come calling, cannot resist one?

Why submit a transfer request 1 day before the season starts!

it's damn disruptive to the team.

Seems like the sore back story is rubbish.

I'm against keeping players against their will. Let Coutinho go.

Well no player is indespensible.
If Barca wants him we sell £150m la
Use the money to buy VVD and 2 other players.

Courtino is good but inconsistent as well.

Solid start for Steven Gerrard's #LFC under-18s. A 1-1 draw away to Derby County with a heavily depleted backline.

Doesnt matter. Players come and go as always. If the Bastr@ds want Cou, then agree to these clause:

1) Cou still will be a Liverpool player until 24th Aug, 0000 BST, therefore as a LFC player, he will still play in UCL.

2) £150m for the man and no UCL for him.

Clause 1 will be good for Coutinho as of Liverpool goes thru, he has a part to play and something for the fans to remember. Then on the other hand, make him focus on whether play UCL this season for LFC or risk one season without UCL with Bastr@ds. If PC att A manningering then LFC can turn ugly and brings him to court.

So in the end, Bastr@ds also gets their man but no UCL for PC.

Best for both clubs. Period.

Hope PEG comes in and offer higher. Then we sell to PSG
Neymar would love this actually, since he's been poking Coutinho to move to his club for many years already :s22:

Anyway, now that it has come to this, I did mention this transfer period is a failure if we sell Coutinho in this window. If we must, best we squeeze Barca or any other bidder dry but our biggest problem now would be replacing Coutinho's quality.

Klopp has said before that the club should retain its best players but if they want to leave he will not stop them. The prudent thing now is to tell them to hang on while they sort out players to replace him. But I feel this has been brewing for some time - Coutinho may not have wanted to leave the club in a lurch but eventually it did leave the club with just 2-3 weeks to find a replacement probably brought on by Neymar's move. Perhaps Keita's deal not happening could've been the spanner in the works. Can't see FSG throwing a £66m bid so willingly unless it was with money that was coming...they were haggling over Salah's price for the longest time then suddenly can bid twice the club record.

Think new rules already different. Only those in group stages can't play for another club in that season.
