So far this season we lost once to Nottingham, draw to Arsenal and Newcastle at their home ground and win all other matches (including UCL full win). Who will expect this? lol

My choice for neverton game is trent at rb and gomez as centerback in place for quansah. Szobo to replace suspended Mac, and Diaz to replace Nunez. Everyone else the same starting.

We can rest players for Giro
I agree fook nunez waste of money! sell him and fund Salah's salary and renewal better!
dun think slot will keep him for next season. He not deadly for a no. 9

I don't care abt UCL.

From what I know, there's no advantage between finishing top and finishing eighth for round of 16 because these 8 teams will go into the hat to play against teams that survived the knock-off round. It's not like finishing top will play against the lowest rank team.

Also, simulations have shown that 15 points will likely be enough for top 8 while 16 points will almost guarantee top 8. So we are almost there now and can afford to rest players for the Girona game.

Just watch the highlights too bad unable to hold on the 3 - 2 lead till the end.
But then vs newcastle always exciting match will not know the final score, still remember that 4 - 3 win against them I stay up to watch. During then still young, now no energy to stay up watch those 3am/4am live match.

First half newcastle attacked a lot but for LFC was really bad~ the Right side was threatened many times because they knew Quansah cannot shine at RB + ** really CMI~ had few chances during first half but 2nd half was really explosive~ sadly Nunez ALWAYS let his anger issue got to him in big games ZZZ!

I do really want Nunez to have success here but . . . . i really don't understand this fellow, his is easily affected by the environment and social media zzz. . . . he is good but maybe not good enough for PL level.

So long as we keep pace with city, Chelsea and arsenal or other challengers we're still in a good place.

To quote Shankly: " 'Ay, here we are with problems at the top of the league"
and 7 points clear may i add.
which means we gotta lose 3 games and Arsenal to not drop any points at all to overtake us.
if anyone told me this is where we will be. i'll grab it with both hands and legs.

It's still early days of course, we are not even halfway there.
Dont get carried away.
Stay humble eh? :s13:
Reality is
we will still drop some points.
and i guarantee u so will the other 19 teams.
We have been the most consistent team by far so far this season. We are playing a more sustainable sensible brand of football now (not that i dont enjoy Klopp's era, i do with every ounce of my being) but this calm quiet confidence approach , stability in defence, and attackers are firing (dont worry, nunez will win points for us, we have to believe, everyone is due a stinker or 2 once in awhile, even Salah (post afcon if u recall).
Kelleher has been a rock for us. Im sure this error will make him even tougher to beat in games to come.

Stick behind the players, the staff, the club.
Dont doubt. Believe.
no point bashing anyone but appreciating the moments and effort that gets us in this great position.
Salah has been immense for us this season.
He deserves his contract. He looks to be in his prime currently. No reason not to renew his contract. VVD as well. they have a good few years left which is vital while we carry on to build the team / players to succeed them.

I don't care abt UCL.
Ucl is important for several reasons.

It's a big trophy, equally if not more important than epl.

Attract promising and top tier players.

Financially lucrative income from UCL. Mind boggling huge for the winner.

Nothing like watching ynwa at ucl final.

About time to go up to 7 times!

We are a big club.
We are on form and can(and will)get even better as season progresses. Judging by how we have been playing , we still have a gear or two to go up to.

We are well placed to seize the top prizes.
Why should we choose then?
Who says we cant win both.

The team needs to
stay humble stay focused stay fit n healthy.
Dont stop believing.
The trophies will come.
