I think the 4th bid is the final one for Wirtz if they reject this bid, we will walk away. Dont think we going to move for any AM anymore so Slot might need to tweak his game plan, maybe use Jones as that AM. From the looks of it we might go all in for Isak if Wirtz fails. If cannot get Isak i believe Kerkez will be the final singing, unless Diaz leaves.
Watching the Germany vs France game, Wirtz is rather anonymous. His passings made quite a few bad mistakes.
The only positive is that he's young, energetic and has potential to improve under Slot.
That's another big IF like energetic Nunes.
He knows that and that's why he's anxious to join Liverpool to improve otherwise he'll be stuck being only occasionally brilliant unlike Salah who's consistently brilliant through the seasons.

IMHO, he's not worth that much of a gamble. Get or don't get is not a big deal unlike Isak who's proven.

You based this on one match you watched and it's a rather meaningless game?

🚨 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Milos Kerkez to Liverpool remains matter of short time, 𝐝𝐞𝐚π₯ 𝐚π₯𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐑𝐞𝐫𝐞 πŸ”΄πŸ

Final round of talks taking place very soon between the clubs as deal won’t be completed today but it will be all sealed in the next days with conversations underway…

…and Rennes left back Truffert will be his replacement at Bournemouth, agreement done between clubs πŸ’

I've been watching Leverkusen since they appeared to be upsetting Bayern πŸ˜‚

Even against us, we hammered them 4-0 and I hardly hear any media or us here hyping him then before or after the match.

Even those YouTube snippets supposedly showing his skills are hardly earth shattering great.
So I'm scratching my head what's he all about.

Maybe it's hype or maybe the experts know better.
Either way, for me no big deal.
No venture no gain kind of risk taking only.

Lijnders called Klopp to tell him that he had decided to make the move to the Etihad. Out of respect, he also rang Arne Slot,

Pep Guardiola called Jurgen Klopp (about Lijnders) and received glowing feedback about his contribution to helping Liverpool win the Premier League, Champions League, Club World Cup, FA Cup, Carabao Cup (twice),

If we're going to spend the EPL transfer record fee on a player, I expect a game changer, not another player on the pitch. I don't expect him to be the difference every game, but at least 60% of the games, like how Messi, Ronaldo, and our own Salah are. That's why I say Ekitikeh not worth 50 million because he's the dollar store Nunez, his speed is slower, conversion rate, work rate, finishing and passing worse than Nunez, only his dribbling better. If we are serious, we should go for Alvarez, because he brings more to the team.

Hope he dazzles us in the coming years!

Let’s settle our LB next.
Then striker and C.B.

And focus on clearing out Nunez and the rest!

There is, meanwhile, a possible departure from Merseyside in the form of Darwin Nunez. Al Hilal contacted Liverpool about the Uruguay striker on Monday and the Saudi Pro League team were made aware about the conditions of a move.

Liverpool rejected a proposal worth €70m from Al Nassr in January and that sets a minimum bar if an exit is to materialise. Nunez is thought to favour staying in Europe β€” Spain and Italy being a priority. Atletico Madrid are among those considering the forward.

The 25-year-old has scored 40 goals across three seasons at Anfield since joining from Benfica in 2022.

"In this episode, we go inside Liverpool FC’s data revolution with Dr. Ian Graham, the mastermind behind the club’s groundbreaking use of analytics. Ian reveals how his data-driven insights helped reshape recruitment strategy, most notably identifying Mohamed Salah as a top-tier winger long before he became a global star.

He also shares how analytics backed Jurgen Klopp’s appointment, supported pivotal transfer decisions like signing Sadio Mane, and overcame internal resistance to modern methods. From Barcelona comebacks to balancing scouting with stats, this is a rare look at the numbers behind Liverpool's rise to the top."
